After talking with a friend, he suggested Bush should admit he made a mistake. If he held a press conference and said exactly that, what difference would it make and what would change? Would you be supportive of the war or would you demand withdrawal? Please feel free to tell me where you're from so I have an idea of what part of the globe Im hearing from.

Both candidates appear to have supporters that knee-jerk answers with the kind of mindless zealotry that is making politics into a bizzare religion for some.

What is it about these two candidates that is attracting such a hopelessly enthralled crowd?

There are many people who don't like Hillary and I count myself among them, but if the time comes to vote and your choices are Hillary, a Republican you didn't like, and a Third Party candidate that has no chance of winning, who would you vote for? Is there a circumstance in which you would vote for Hillary?

I hear that there may be a new currency introduced that would incorporate every country from Canada to the southern tip of South America. How do you feel about it?

Recently, my wife was buying chapstick in a gas station/convenience store and noticed it was on the shelf next to condoms. I have seen this before and wonder is this a normal occurrance or just in my area of the country?

Politics are goal driven and passion/emotions play a role in how we see problems/solutions.

Is there too much or not enough emotion/passion in our politics today?

Much of what goes on in politics these days seem to be immediate quick-fixes with little regard to long term effects...or not studying the long term effects for possible side effects. Is this rush to legislate creating a legendary mess of a legacy?

As an example, shorter study times on new and experimental drugs without changing the patent laws create higher prices for longer durations while having a larger population exposed to risks for longer periods should the drug have unforeseen effects.

Congress passed a bill to put up a fence in the effort to slow/stop illegal immigration but has been slow (at least) to act while expecting terrorist plots to unfold in the near future. Could their inaction be largely to blame?

Don't blame a party- both share the credit.

Many people believe financially wealthy people should pay more money in taxes to the government to "ease the burden" of the "poor." While it seems obvious that with having financial wealth that they may have "extra," should their contribution be manditory or voluntary and why (regardless of which you choose)?

So many "questions" are painting pictures backwards and forgetting all the "reasons" for the war in the first place. Why is everything being looked at through hindsight as though we knew all that information all along?
