Does anyone know where I can get a DVD player repaired in the San Francisco Bay Area in California?

I put in a DVD for my grandma to watch, and supposedly the DVD was stuck on a scene and kept repeating ( I wasn't at home when this happend), but when I got home my DVD player will not open or close when I pushed the eject button,and the power will turn itself off automatically. How do I fix this? I have never had problems like this before with the DVD player. What can I do?

I am taking the MCAT's in August, and I have been studying since May, but I can't seem to retain any information, or at least it feels that way. Is any recommendations on how to study?
