I got my son a Nintendo DSi for Christmas and am looking for games. He is 8. He has a Crash Bandicoot game for his PS2 that you race and pick up things and can throw weapons. Is that pretty much what Mario Kart is? Thanks for any input! Any game suggestions would be appreciated too! He likes NCAA football for PS2 and the new Super Mario Bros. for Wii. Typing this it looks like he is video game freak! He's not. Can hardly get him to come inside most days!

I had to download some home movies off 8 mm tapes on my computer at work as Vista, which I have at home (yuck) does not support USB streaming so I couldn't put them on there. I don't have a DVD burner on my computer at work. What is the best option for a device to take the movies off computer at work and put them on my computer at home to burn? Like a USB flash drive?

Now my husband can't watch cage fighting. Can we cancel our contract (we have a year left on it) since they're not carrying a channel we're paying for anymore, which was part of the reason we chose that package, without paying the penalty?

We are refinancing and were told we have to use the appraisal company the the lender contracts with. Can they tell us who we have to use? I talked to the appraiser that is doing it and asked how much she charged and she told me she can't tell me because she doesn't charge as much as they are charging me because the management company has to get their cut. This doesn't seem like it should be legal???

Why can we not have a debate where a panel of people sits in front of computers and calls the candidates out on bold-faced lies? Is it because the candidates would never agree to one? I'm not saying any of the candidates are exempt from lying, but why can there not be someone there keeping them on the up and up, at least for an hour or so?

I think my initial loan was around $12,000 and have been on income contingent so no payments, but still being charged interest and they capitalize it once a year, so almost $5000 is interest alone. We have a one piece tub/shower surround and it has leaked a few times in the past couple of weeks. It leaks in the front where the tub meets the floor so it's obviously getting water under the tub and leaking out. But, it doesn't do it every time. It has never done it when I've taken a bath, but has done it three times while my son has showered. My hubby thinks it's the drain that is crack (there are no visible cracks in the tub/shower itself) but I don't understand why it wouldn't leak every time if it were the drain pipe. I thought maybe it was the shower plumbing in the wall, but the wall behind it doesn't get wet that I've noticed. Maybe the faucet plumbing behind the wall??? Any ideas?

I just got married in July. My income is about $13,000 per year and was a single mother, received no child support. My husband's income is about $52,000. I always got a refund of about $4000 including state (Nebraska) refund. My husband got back about $1600 last year. Should we file joint for 2008 or married filing separately? If we file jointly will we still get about the same as we did last year?

My parents bought my son an aquarium for his bday. Bought an algae eater, one little pretty fish (don't know what kind) a goldfish, and two ghost catfish and a fiddler crab. The people at the pet store told them the crab would be fine in with the fish (10 gallon tank). The two ghost cat fish are the only original fish we have. I replaced the goldfish and still have his replacement. Replaced all the others and added one or two. Three algae eaters have died (ones body was just gone) as have a couple others. What could be the cause other than the crab? The ghost catfish basically just stay in one upper corner of the tank. If it was something in the water, would they have died too?

I fixed color and resolution and icons are smaller, but still larger than they were. I cannot find my disk that came with computer. How do I update the driver. Or is that even what I need to do? Can I click revert to previous driver? Thanks!
