I got this nice Griswold Erie iron skillet that is very bumpy and texture uneven on the sides and bottom in black-carbon like bumps that are kinda paintchip esque.

I want to in a way "whipe the slate clean" and use some Crisco to season it brand new.

I have heard you can put the pan on the grill outside to burn off the carbon, and it becomes dust. But I would like to get answers obviously before I go further.

Sorry if this seems a little dumb, but I figured to make some wedges by hand. I have seen on videos where people made onion rings, but then stored them into the freezer hours before deep frying.

For me though, I am more interested in baking them. Still though I would like to know if it's better to do that or just simply bake them right after you make them. I would like to note that I am putting spices on it, if that helps.

I am getting more involved in cooking a pizza by hand, rather than ordering out or frozen bought simply because I want to try and improve my cooking skill. That being said, what types of Tomato should I look for in buying. I'm asking in a sense because I want to try and make a pizza with the Tomatoes chopped as a whole rather than a sauce.

I was just taking my dog outside, and now I see goo on his left eye lid, and he cannot open his eye and the right eye lid the same and it looks like both eyes are crosseyed.

Hello, I have a 10 year old Rat Terrier, and recently within the last weak he has began to throw up undigested material(still has a appetite), drink lots of water, and lost energy. I am thinking about getting him to a vet this week, but does anyone have advice on what is going on. Also I live in Wisconsin, so we have a cold climate right now.

I am having a root canal issue.

I had the procedure done 6 months ago, and when I went to the dentist the other day there was a issue.

The initial x-ray from six months ago showed the infection was in two places, under the infected tooth and between the infected tooth and back molar.

The in between part has healed up, while the space under the tooth has healed somewhat, as it used to be a dark space but now there is some Grey. Any idea on what is going on.

Also I have a bit of swollen gums, but not heavy.

My father just installed new drum brakes on the rear of the ford 99 xlt 2wd we have. As I was stopped at a red light I heard what could be described as a fingernail on a chalkboard that first sounded low then it became higher until it stopped. I also smelled something that smelt like tar or pine. Any idea if this is something maybe wrong ?

What is the name of the part that opens the brake shoe on the wheel cylinder. We can't find the name of it. Its the thing coming out of the end on this picture here on the left side.

For the past two days, underneath my tonue and to the right there is a sac thats connected to my nerves or veins underneath my tongue.

Now it looks this is naturally, as there is one on my left.

The difference with this, is that maybe this sac was cut off or fallen off, and has white flesh around it. So when ever I rub again a tooth during eating I feel a sharp pain at times.

Is this a injury or some sort of whitehead ?

I am not blaming this on global warming or anything, but do you think that 2008 will be the year of the tornado?

The past few months, all I have seen every week in the news is a new tornado coming down from the clouds and destroying stuff and taking a few lives.

I probed my mouth recently, and I found a gap between my crown and molar. Now I have stopped drinking soda for the past 16 months, but still acid could have done this.

Anyways I can feel the gap all around the outside part of the crown not the inside. Could this be from decay or the dental cement being washed away.

It's been about 4 or 5 years.

I pay online about every 2 weeks, so I always have wiggle room.

Going to their payments, I see the following.

They closed off the minimum payment which was 0.00

The closed off the statement balance which was somewhere around 250.00

So I only have one option which is the current balance, around 125.00, that or manual(other) payment.
