I need help with my car please. I have a 98 accord in Mexico which has been seating in a garage for over 2 years now. My family is the one who has the car. I live in the states. They can't drive the car (afraid) whenever I go to visit them I use the car but it has been over a year since I haven't gone. Now they said the car won't start. They haven't turn it on for a year. They think the gasoline went bad in the tank. Now'if it is, how should I fixed it? What procedures should I use to get it running? It had about half of tank full. The temperature there is about 80 degrees always. How shoul I get all gummy staff out? Thanks!!

Hola amigos! Es un poco vergonzoso esto tengo que decirlo. Tengo con mi nena cazi un ano y pues apenas unos meses nos comimos el pastel (se que no esta bien, pero en fin). I have a Mac OS X iBookG4 and since yesterday it has been talking, saying everything what I do. For instance, if I go to open a new window it will tell me the place and the format about the place in the internet. In fact, right now it is telling every single letter I type. It does not stop talking. My nephew was using it yesterday and this morning I wanted to use but this voice does not stop talking. Everything works fine just the voice that talks all the time. What do I do to the computer in order to stop talking? Every place I make a "click" It will say what it is. It is really embarrasing. Please help me. Thank you.

I have a laptop ibook G4 apple computer and recently I changed the hard drive due to the fact it went bad. I took to a place to get it fixed. They told me that the hard drive was damaged so I had to be replaced. I have the computer back from the shop but now the computer has some problems. First, the computer won't detect or get the wireless internet at home. I talked to the guy who fix it and asked him if he got work at his the shop. He said: Yes, everything was working fine. The problem is at home the computer won't work. It only works if I only connect the internet cable to the computer. The router works fine (to make the wireless). I have a destop as well and it the internet work without any problems but the wireless will not work. Now, before the computer was bad it will catch any type of free wireless available in the area specially at school. Then, it will guide me how to make the internet work on the computer. It does not do that now. The type of internet I have right now (wireless) has a password. I type the password on the computer to make it work and it says: There was an error trying to join to this type of internet. My question is this: After the hard drive was replace do I have to install a program so the computer can get the wireless internet? or when you install the new hard drive is comes already install? The funny this is: how does the computer work the internet cable connected to the computer? but it will not work when I disconnect the cable if for sure know I have wireless at home! please help me! please!! 90 accord Map sensor problems.. does any body know how to change a Map sensor on 90 accord ex 2.2 automatic. I cannot find it. Where is it? How should change or clean it? Please give all the details. The Altima was hit 2 weeks ago from behind by an SUV while the Altima was parked. Damage was done to the trunk and the rear bumper. However, since then, the airbag light keeps blinking. It has never done that before. Today we ran a code reader (OBDII) hoping that it would read the airbag, but it didn't. Instead, it read a knock sensor problem... But the car runs fine and doesn't have any problems other than the airbag light.

How can we fix the airbag in order to turn the flashing light off? Why did the code reader detect a problem with the knock sensor while the vehicle has no problems running? Typically problems with the knock sensor would be noticeable at least.

What can we do to fix the main problem - which is the airbag light? Please advise...

I have a 87 Camry (manual) and it has been doing something weird lately. Everytime when I shift from any speed to other, the car doesn't respond. I shift for instant 1-2 then a let the clucht go out then the gas pedal goes in right? The car should go correct? when I step on the gas the car wouldn;t go It will almost die instead of going. The car would go just a little then it will slow down, then go again then slow down. The rpms go up just everytime when the car goes but when the car slows down the rpms will do the same thing. Any ideas what it could be guys? Thank you so much for you time.

I am trying to change the engine on a 95 corrolla 7AFE for a better one. I don't want to use the OEM. Any suggestion about what should put on it. Any engine that might fit without doing lots of modifications? or a place where I can check ro do an engine swap? Thank you

I have a 95 corolla Dx and I has been doing a wierd noise from the engine comparment. I've been in three diff. places and then said that the ring pistons are bad so I need to get a new engine ( my friend says what they said is not right. when righs go bad, the car smog a lot). Others said that the timing belt is not right ( which I am not sure too). Third place said that the transmission is bad. The noise only comes when the car is on gear. Doesn;t do it when it's on Park or Neutral. It does it when i am going less than 30 miles, (won't do it over 40miles) when I take off from a stop. Just when I touch the gas pedal a little bit after that the car runs great. I have noticed that the noise comes from where the transmission bolts to the engine, on the lower part. From the bottom of the engine. The noise is internal not external. It is like some peaces of metal are rubbing. Why does it do it just on gear not when it's Park or Neutral? Any ideas guys please? Every shop said sm. diff. why?

Can someone explain to me the meaning of a bolt pattern please? And when someone tells you for example, 4x114mm, what does it mean?, I do not have any idea what they are talking about. Thank you guys!

I have a 87 camry 2.0 manual transmission and it has been weired these days. Everytime when I shift from one speed to other the car would slow down a little bit after a while then It will go fast. When is going on first I push the gas pedal almost on the floor but nothing hapens. I am not sure what the problem is. Does anybody have an ideas please? Thanks.

Please can anybody explain me why American people sleep under the "sheet"? I am Latino and in my culture we do not have such a thing. Here in America we have the mattress, the one sheet, then other sheet, then Another sheet!! :( why? Why do I have to sleep exactly between the mattress and the first sheet? It's so coold at night that I never sleep weell. The way people should sleep is on top o the third sheet so you can get warm enough to sleep. Since I got to America I have back problems due to I sleep under the last sheet. Any recommendatios from there?

I have a toyota corrolla and I'm not sure wether to use headers or not, some people say that I may have some emissions and noise problem. Some other say that they are good for racing that's it. I'm confused! :( Do they really improve performance on the car? What are the common problems of having them?
