My apartment buildings property management company recently sent almost everyone in the building notices that there would be restrictions on barbecuing. You can only use an electric grill or small propane tank fueled grill. Is this legal ? And what about those who did not receive a notice in the mail.

I am a permanently disabled single parent with section 8, I keep up the condition of my home and pay my bills on time. I am one of 2 renters in my complex on section 8. Rumour is our landlord wants to discontinue accepting section 8 payments. I would therefore be responsible for the full amount of monthly rent which my disability check can't cover. This is a good school district for my son but I will move if I have to, is this legal ? And, how much time would I have ?

I had a rental car stolen and because I left the starting device in the car I am informed I am financially responsible for the cost of the vehicle at time of lost. However I am permanently disabled, and a primary factor of my disability is memory loss. Like forgetting keys and such. Can my disability be viewed as a reason for my carelessness? And what will I stand to loose since my only income is SSDI ??

I have been renting a car for a few weeks, I took out coverage on the vehicle also. Last night the car was stolen from my apt bldg parking lot. My problem is I think I left the mechinism that allows the car to be started by pushing a button in the car. So I am I going to be liable for the car ? And, would there be some sort of tracking device on a 2007 Nissan Altima ?? I so can't afford this.

Heres the situation, the police respond to a domestic disturbance, a couple somewhat prone to such conflict. And during a search of their apartment find three marijuana joints in the husbands pants pocket. They reside in Arizona and he is looking at three years, apparently hes had afew non violent drug related convictions in California. Does this sound a bit extreme. And why were the police searching a pair of pants that were'nt even being worn ? Bear in mind this is intially a domestic dispute. Any info on this search and sentence length ??

I went to a local florist in a small town in California to send a mothers day floral arrangement to my mom, who lives in a small town in Ohio. Even though I ordered and paid in cash on Monday they scheduled delivery for the following Saturday, after promising delivery between 8 a.m. and noon at noon they informed me that it might take till six since its a holiday delivery. At around 4 they advised me they would be delivering until 8 pm. My mom is in her 70's and perfers being asleep by 7. I'm so frustrated at this pont my mom has no flowers and the shop in Ohio does not deliver on Motheres Day. Any suggestions??? Oh, by the way this cost about sevanty dollars to expirence. Ideas?????

Since the WB network spilt I can no longer find the Judge Mathis show, it is listed on the on screen listings but when you go to the indicated chanel you're reminded that the line up has changed. But, when I check the CW chanel hes not on there either. I'm in the Monterey/Santa Cruz Calif. viewing areas. Any ideas???

My two year old cat has been going on my apartment rooftop, along with some other building cats, and going potty. My neighbor whose apartment is under their favorite area is none to fond of this activity. Any suggestions to curtail this behavoir????? Its a two story building.
