Hemingway quote, correct prep?
I've been asked to tattoo a Hemingway quote but in researching the precise phrase I've come across a discrepancy. The quote is, "The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong IN/AT the broken places." Some online sources use the preposition "in" while others prefer "at". Obviously, my client (and myself) would rather apply it correctly the first time. Your thoughtful help is appreciated by both of us.

I'm doing a portrait tattoo with this line underneath. Which form is grammatically proper? THanks!

Do you hold the title or a certificate of title?
If your parents registered the name intended for you with the government and the government issues a birth certificate based off of that original registration, which they keep, does the government not own the name and merely allow you to use it and be held liable to its use?
Can the government attach a name to you without your consent?
