Centre of a circle lies on the line x + 2y -6 = 0. The x-axis and y-axis are tangents to the circle. Find centre.

If the x-axis and y-axis are tangents to a circle where (-g,-f) is the centre, will g always = f? This is a high school math question that I'm doing And for some odd reason.. Maybe it's got to do with the fact that the radius is equal in length on all sides of the circle but I seem to think what I just said is true. So let's say I wanted to find the point of contact of the tangents to the circle, the tangents being the x axis and Y axis independently, would I for the x axis tangent let f = 0 and using the g from the centre point get the x value like wise the y axis tangent let g = 0 and get the y value from the f. Am I making sense? Sorry if I'm not.

Do you think it's possible that the illuminati exists? I'm trying to think about it rationally and I've come to the conclusion that it could. I have a couple of questions for ye...in a star, every second energy is being gained from nuclear fusion, my question is this, how do we know that the change frequency of galaxy's (because they're accelerating) is because of the Doppler effect and not because of nuclear fusion? Also, is there a slight probability that I could quantum tunnel at any moment? Is it possible to predict a gamma ray burst in our direction? And if so, could we built a space satellite with an extremely dense material which would refract the gamma rays away from our planet?
