  • Does running the air conditioner in your vehicle consume gasoline?

I have always heard that running the air will use up more gas but my daughter informed me that that is an old wives' tale and it does not use up gas. I have no idea.

  • Should I give my employer notice that I am quitting?

I have worked for them for four years and two months ago, they cut my hours significantly, but indicated that it was to economize the office and that they still value me. They gave me a few days' notice of the cut in hours. I immediately started looking for work and now that I have found it, do I really need to give them any notice?

  • Who is else is looking forward to eating Reubens on the 17th?

Also, will you make them at home or buy them from someplace? I usually make them at home, but the Arby's commercials for Reuben Wraps are making my mouth water so this year I'm buying. I can't wait!!!

  • First step with troubled teen question?

My 13 year old daughter has turned our household upside down and I'm not certain where to start to get help for her before she truly becomes an out-of-control teenager. She gets extremely angry at the drop of a hat. She's either even-tempered or having a angry meltdown..there's no middle ground with her. I love this kid to death, but she is really exhibiting a lot of behavioral problems that if left alone could turn into extreme problems soon. I've done some research into residential treatment centers and/or boarding schools, but I really feel these are too extreme for her just now--they involve her being gone 12-18 months. I think that she may need counseling, but I'm not even sure where to start. Any suggestions or your own experiences would be helpful.

  • Does it annoy you that the spelling on this site is atrocious?

I can't understand half the questions due to typos--there is a check-spell feature--I wish people would use it if they can't spell. What do you think?
