  • 1982 mustang wont start without pressing gas pedal?

I have a 1987 Ford mustang gt 5.0 302 engine v8. Every morning it wont start without me pressing slowly on the gas and keeping the rpm at around 1.5. My mechanic told me to do this and its the only thing that's kept it from dying within 2 seconds of idling in neutral. He said it was that the car had no carburetor? I also do the cold starting method where I turn the car on without starting it, slowly pressing the gas pedal down twice, counting to ten and starting it.

its the same on cold mornings and hot afternoons...

    Is the carburetor thing true?

  • can I file an EEOC claim?

So, my boss who is known for his inappropriate relationships with the women under him, just fired me for insubordination. I had talked to him during the weekend about how he had cut the pay of all supervisors at our site and stripped them of their rank a few months back, but with one exception to a girl who is known to be one of his "girls".

I asked him point blank, is she still getting paid her supervisor salary even though that position has been cut? He started yelling and it got ugly. I was just fired today and when i went to look at the eeoc website, i couldn't find anything that pertains to my case. I know it was wrong and i know he should be fired, but his boss backs him and i'm the one to pay for being dumb enough to say what i know.

Do I have a case? I don't care what happens, i just want justice, I don't want to be another one of those morons who takes it and allows another predator to roam happy and free.

Also I live in the state of VA

  • Why do people get so angry when they talk on religion?

Is it because we're all so insecure in our faith, that we have so many doubts about it so when those buttons are pushes we explode like a 5th grader? Why do people get so violently hostile when you talk about hypotheticals regarding faith?

There was this study I've been hearing about where 'they' found that between Christians vs Athiests/nonbelievers there was an embarassing ratio of ignorance towards the Bible/doctrine amongst Christians when compared to Athiests knowledge of the scripture. (Personally I think that study's flawed because they neglected to define their basis for dubbing some people 'christian') But still. (BTW if anyone can source that theory for me I'd really appreciate it, so far it's just something I've heard quotes a LOT.

Oh and this doesn't have to be just about western theology, though that's the main topic of argument.

My theory is that anger is spawned of fear, and religion is made to answer the unknown, the unknown being a terrifying concept, so when forced to acknowledge flaws in your faith, it's natural to shut down and be defensive.

    Anyway, share your thoughts?

  • 2nd trimester, baby rising and dropping, it's really weird has this happened to anyone else?

Last night i woke up feeling weird and i put my hand on my stomach where the baby usually rests and it wasn't there. Instead it was like, way up to my navel. It freaked me out so i got up to look in the mirror and when i did i watched it drop like WHUMP and it was down just above my pelvis like it normally is. Scared the heck out of me and it did it again when i woke up this morning. the second i stand up gravity yanks it back where it normally goes but the whole thing is really weird for me. This is my first and it already feels enough like that sci fi alien movie to me without this stuff happening. just, has this ever happened to anyone?
