Appreciative

I wanted a gun for self protection since someone posted a Face Book profile of me with all of my personal information. I am a single female and know nothing about guns. Some one told me a 9mm was good but the gun store clerk told me that this may not take some one down so I chose a small gun with what he said was the caliper of a smith and wesson. I had trouble loading the the magazine . My long nails did not help but pressing a bullet over a bullet was clumsy. I filed out all of my personal iformation and it came back as "delayed". I asked the clerk what that meant and he said that it could mean anythng like I have a common name which I do not. My question is for gun store owners in Missouri what would cause a delay on my back ground check? Thank you.

I do business with a man. We fight constantly and sometimes he is nice. It seems like he only comes around when he needs something and if I do not answer then he calls repeatedly. we are both grown adults and he is married so I am against any type of feelings for a married man. For whatever reasons , I have impure thoughts towards this man and it sometimes consumes me. I do not want to feel this way . He lives in another state so we only talk , but have meet. How do I deal with these thoughts that wont go away?

I go through alot of trials. I have never been happy. I have gone to church. prayed, fasted,tithed studied the scriptures and councelled with so called christians. I ALWAYS feel let down. No Christians have any real answers just useless pat answers that do not fix any thing. There is no real prooff that God even exist and having faith in it does not make it any more true than Santa Claus. Christians always have an excuse as to why THEIR prayers were never answered and why God does not act like he promised to in the Bible They blame me , satan basically anything rather admit that the Bible is just another disapointment. I am really despondant and do not want any more Chistian pat answers.
