10 Yard Fight

In the 2nd quarter after the Ed Reed INT there is some shoving going on and Cary Williams of the Ravens shoves one of the officials with both hands and was not flagged, ejected nor have I seen or heard any talk of suspension by the league? Bill Belichick was fined $50,000 for touching a refs arm after a game while trying to get an explanation on a call so why on earth hasn't this clown been called to the league office to face the consequences of shoving an official on purpose. Even the announcers had nothing to say about it on the replay, so I guess my question is why has this been swept under the rug?

I usually don't go to fan sites for news but I can't find any good clips of it.

I'm not a fan of college football but I've always thought it was a complete joke to have only 2 teams be able to compete for a national title in what they call the postseason since the FBS has 120 teams.

I'd like to see it expanded to 8 or 10 teams to make it really interesting and I also believe that with college footballs intense fanbase a single elimination tournament would be really intense, I love the NFL playoffs and would love to see that kind of intensity for college playoffs instead of seeing 2 teams that sat around for 5 weeks playing for a title.

I really hope they can get this done, seems like they're close and realize what a failed system they have been using.

Those two losers have been hanging up on Bruins callers for years and now that they won the Stanley Cup they are on the intermission show like they've been supporting the Bruins all along. Anyone else feel the same?

My other RB is Chris Johnson so I'm set there but I'm still without Peterson so who would you go with?

I was offered Jonathan Baldwin and Jonathan Stewart for Antonio Brown and Brandon Jacobs. Its a yardage league, would you make that deal?

A team in my league wants to take offers for Drew Brees, he wants RB help because Brandon Jacobs is his 2nd RB behind Hillis.

I thought I would offer Matt Schaub and Felix Jones for Brees and LaDanian Tomlinson.

Its a yardage league 25 yds pass = 1 pt 4pts TD- 10 yds rush = 1 pt 6 TD.

My RB1 is Adrian Peterson so I can settle for a mid level RB2 to upgrade with Brees at QB

I also have Beanie Wells and Daniel Thomas to offer but both have injuries right now.

I think Wells has a much better matchup at home vs Carolina than Jones at the Jets on Sunday night. The rest of my offense is prety stacked with Adrian Peterson, Mike Wallace, Hakeem Nicks, Anquan Boldin, Owen Daniels and Matt Schaub so I should still do alright if neither one has a great game.

Who would you start?

Do you think "big market" team payrolls would drop over time if players weren't asking for 7 year $140 million dollar contracts? Would top player be looking for shorter contracts if they weren't guaranteed or would it be the same?

I honestly think a team payroll minimum would help or a MLB version of the NFL "Final Four Plan" that limlits free agent signings to the previous years playoff teams could "bridge the gap" to put more teams in realistic contention.

Shaun Ellis, Cromartie and get a safety? Or do you think they may look elsewhere? The Eagles may have to release Asante Samuel to make room for Nnamdi. Is He an option for the Jets? Or who do you think they will target?

I would love to see McCourty and Samuel together, then Bodden can become expendable for trade bait on a OLB or DE.

To get the #1 pick next year? ESPN reports that they backed out of trade talks with Denver for Orton and instead sign Matt Moore to a 2 year deal. I think Orton would have been much better than Moore, Orton had decent numbers last year (3,500 yds 20TD 9INT) and in my opinion is a much better option for the Dolphis.

Even as a Pats fan it makes me wonder what the heck they are thinking about down there.

How long will Montreal players continue to embarass themselves and the game by flopping every time someone gets near them? Subban should have been called for holding and diving on that play in the corner.

I usually don't get all excited about early season stats but I've said since Philly got him he would be a runaway Cy Young winner in the NL.

He stated that the Sox and Yankees take way too long to play their games, I do know that their games on average are much longer than the average MLB game but can you blame them for the length of the games considering how close they usually finish at the end of the year?
