I wrote this for the girl I love. I still didn't give it to her though... What do you think?

Ok, my ex girlfriend, in whom I am madly in love, and she knows it, is driving me crazy.

I have already accepted that she doesn't want to be with me, we talked about it many times since she broke up with me, and she said "some people just aren't meant to be together" which I think is total bs, and no clear reason was ever given for the break up, but whatever, I've accepted the fact, and now just want to be left alone, I no longer answer her calls, try to avoid seeing her (we work together) as much as possible, don't answer her texts, etc...

The problem is, after about a week of no contact, she suddenly goes out of her way to talk to me. For example: I was walking past her last week, I didn't see her up until I was right next to her, when I saw her I tried to walk away as fast as I could, but she suddenly ran up to me, literally blocked my path, and said "Do you want a taste of the cake I've baked? You have to try it, it's very good!". I hesitated for a bit, but couldn't say no and walk away, it would have been just too rude, I'm not that kind of person... So I went with her, alone, we ate the cake, all the while she was asking me how I was doing. I finished my piece, thanked her and got out of there the best way I could. It is not the first time that similar situations, when she suddenly did something unusual after a week or so of no contact, happen. The fact that I still love her, is what's causing the problem here, because what she does confuses me, and makes it so much harder to get over her.

I don't get it, what does she want with me? Why doesn't she just leave me alone?

I'm just curious about something... Recently I opened a facebook page, and started sending friendship requests to a lot of people... (It was my gf's idea...) And so I sent a friendship request to this one girl, who I once went to school with, and we dated for a bit back then... I had a HUGE crush on her, but it was a LONG time ago... we haven't heard from each other for at least 5 years... And I am honestly not interested in her in any way now, I love my girlfriend. The thing is, I sent this girl (as I did a ton of people) a casual: "Whats up?? We haven't spoken forever!!!", to which she answered, and we had a cute little conversation, but at one point, I asked her: "So, do you still live in the same place you used to?", to which she answered: "Yeah, but I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, so you could say I don't live there any more... lol!"... It felt so obvious she was looking for an excuse to mention her boyfriend, I seriously considered answering: "Like I give a damn, *****!". Of course I didn't, but instead told her that I had a girlfriend too, and ended the conversation not long after...

I'm just curious, did she think I was hitting on her?? Isn't it a bit arrogant of her to think that the only reason I would contact her, was because I was hitting on her?

According to our current understanding of physics, for an object to move with the speed of light, it needs unlimited energy, thus moving faster than the speed of light is impossible. I wonder is it possible to make a computer model of an object moving faster than the speed of light in a virtual environment?(Because obviously energy in a model is no longer a constraint)

And if not, then please explain why? (My guess is, because a computer can't process anything faster than the speed of light, it can't simulate such a speed)

P.S. I'm not an expert, so please sorry if anything is wrong.

It started yesterday, i just launched chrome, it was suposed to open my homepage which is www.google.com but it shows a red screen that says:

you attempted to reach www.google.com but the server presented an invalid certificate

you cannot proceed because the website operator has requested hightened security for this domain.

this is stupid because i use google all of the time!

also i was trying to ask this question on yahoo answers with chrome, but when i pressed log in to yahoo i recieved the same error:

walking down the street today, and looking at peoples shoes made me realize that 80% of all people dont tie their shoelaces. it used to be only teens walking like that but im starting to see adults that stuf their laces in the sides! is it cool or are they just lazy?

I just want names of interesting documentaries about ancient egypt. doesn't have to be new. if there are any documentary series, their names would be appreciated.

Im a rapper tipe, i wear large shirts, wide pants, hats, rags and other hip hop related gear.

The prom in my highschool is aproaching and i dont know what to wear. Everyone in my school knows im a rapper so my problem isnt how a rapper should present him self, i want some advice on what i should wear for prom.

The prom we have isnt going to be verry formal so suits and ties are not a must, but i still want to look a little more respectable than for example when i go to a club or party. i want to wear something quite formal but still has a major hip hop element to it.

any advice would be welcome.

I started my senior year in high scool and i descided to start learning. the last few years iwas skipping classes and geting in all kinds of trouble, then half a year ago i started learning but no one payed any attention, everything was great but now that a new year has started all of the teachers and students alike started noticing that i have good grades and started swetting me... The teachers keep making an example of me when talking to the class, as if i was a drug addict and i stopped taking drugs all on my own, telling everyone they should be like me!!! it gets on my nerves badly!!!!! and the people i learn with started ******* around and swetting me! Sometimes i am this close to kicking someone in their teeth...

OK, now im 17 years old and ever since i can remember my self i was afraid of deep water. It has nothing to do with marine creatures or monsters or any thing like that, im just starting to panic when i know there is bottomless water all around me. But even worse I start panicking when i look down and see the barely visible bottom deep beneath (probably not that deep, about 20-40 meters). I noticed i was afraid of deep open water when i was 8 or 9 while i was playing a video game. In the game I was riding a train and suddenly it started speeding up, got off the tracks and rammed through a gate into a large room full of water. And since than i experienced that fear in other video games as well. Im not a really good swimmer but i can swim. Also i really love the sea. But when im at the sea i never go swimming past a certain depth or point where im afraid i will start panicking. In real life i have never experienced the fear since im just too afraid to enter such deep water.

Funny thing though is that a few years ago i was on one of those boats with a glass bottom so you can see what is going on in the water. The day was sunny and the water was crystal clear and the boat sailed to a coral reef. When the crew let the passengers down to the glass bottom of the boat, i still couldnt see the bottom, just sky blue water all around. I didnt panic. As we approached the reef, the water was getting shallower and gradualy the bottom became visible, and i still didnt panic. Needless to say the reef was spectacular and i enjoyed seeing it very much, but the thing is i didnt reallise i hadnt panicked until i was off the boat! For a reason of my own, i would like to overcome that fear can you please help me??

Do you think Constantine did the right thing founding Constantinople=dividing the empire,and making Christianity the official religion of Rome?

I think he is one of the worst!!! I hate it when people say he was great and put him on the same line as Augustus! In my opinion those two actions made the empire weak and eventually led to its downfall.

What are your opinions?

a couple of days back i watched gladiator (not for the first time) and as usual at the end started crying like a girl.

now i dont cry while watching movies! never. not when i saw titanic or any other sad movie, but when ever i watch gladiator its the same thing. all of the other people ive asked (friends, family) told me they also cried when they saw it. im just curious did anyone watch it and didnt cry??
