so it's my boyfriends birthday and he LOVES pasta, but wont eat it out of a jar. he comes from an italian family and naturally his mom will NOT give up the recipe...YET anyway..but i want to learn how before her demise so if i have questions they can be answered..i learned this the hard way loosing my mom..So the boyfriend is very picky and does NOT like chunks..so no chunk like onions..i even went as far as straining ragu once and TRIED to pass it off as homemade...that didn't happen. i know that her recipe calls for 3 large cans of tomato sauce 2 large cans of tomato puree and 1 can of tomato paste..she has told me that yes there is garlic and onion in there..but how does she do it so there is no chunk..and i don't recall seeing any oregano spice or other green spices except for a bay leaf...and yes she does use meat in it....i also want to make meatballs..so can you tell me your best homemade sauce recipe.....i would greatly appreciate it....and so would he...thanks in advance for your time...i know it's hard to be so picky...i have to live w/ it every single day..UGH!!!..

My boyfriend who has a CDL license lost his job today when he tested positive for marijuana...he was told when he was hired by the boss "that he didn't care when he did on his free time..just do not bring his habits to work"....was also never told that there would be random drug testing....now i am still unsure who did the drug testing ...if it was the company or the insurance company...he is welcome to go back to the job in 40 days as long as he tests negative for any drugs....but here is the kicker...there were other people also tested that came up positive for pain killer narcotics but they were NOT fired even tho they do NOT have a prescription for these drugs....i just want to know if this is legal....he wants to say something...but before he opens his mouth and inserts foot i want to know the legality of it all....any help would be appreciated....oh and it is new york state that we reside in just in case the rules are different state to state...THANK YOU!!

Going to have to say my 8yr old tv is "old"...it doesn't have audio/vidoe hook up in the back...no plug ins at all...i am now running my DVD player through my VCR...the problem is that it fades in and out (the colors/darkness)...i have bought and used the RF modulator unit...and it didn't make any difference...altho i did buy the cheap version...however, some movies do not fade at all....AND awhile ago i was using a VCR/DVD combo and i had no problems w/ the darkness at all...any ideas on why or how i can fix it?? out of nowhere this appeared...it is more white then yellow...and he is a breed that normally gets what we call cockie dots...but now it is thicker and has a yellow tint to it...it is not his normal eye goober...he is very active and swims alot...as of recently we really can't afford a vet visit if not necessary...if it is something we can take care of ourselves...has anyone experienced this themselves...is there an over the counter cure??...any advice would be helpful..thank you in advance for your time

not sure if it is DWI's.....or the economy but the bar i work in is about ready to close it's doors..i LOVE my job...I LOVE my customers....but for the past year the clientel is dwindeling...the bar/pub is small...hole in the wall in the country type bar....the age group varies from 21 to i can't believe you are still sitting in a bar drinking at your age lol...like i said...it is a smalltown country bar...music varies mostly rock and hiphop...do you have any party ideas for a SMALL bar...or drink special things that your favorite bar does??...or what is the favorite thing about your bar...what makes it special to you???....just looking for ideas of any kind...anything that can help keep the doors open to the towns favorite pub!

i live in a small town that does not offer gift wrapping..so for the holidays i was thinking of opening up a small shop to offer the service...i am on my way..so far so good...however, i have a meeting of the minds w/ a few of the local business owners to discuss my service and how i want to go about things...problem is i have never paid for this service myself nor paid attention to the signs in the malls that do offer services...i want to be educated before i go into my meeting...so if you can help me out w/ how much you have paid for the service..did it include all the trimmings such as ribbons and bows....all of that good stuff..i would really appreciate it....thank you in advance....HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

i have red potatoes..i was going to bake w/ spices on top...but then i thought..hmmm can i marinate them?...i have never done this before..has anyone...and do you have a recipe or thoughts?...i was thinking italian salad dressing then bake..what do you thinK?..oh yeah..and being there is oil in the dressing is it safe for the oven..should i cover w/ tin foil?

it started a few days ago when i plugged in my camera. the pc made the noise that it was noticed. but the program never loaded. i looked for the program and it is no longer there???..then i went to use my music download service (360 share pro)..it started to open but it never opened..however i searched for songs and they are still there..the program is still listed in my programs unlike the one for my camera..even when i searched for the software it is not even in my PC..hmmm??..i asked around and a few people say i most likely need spyware..i have norton...and for some odd reason when i tried to DL AVG it said i already have it..but i have an older version that i can't seem to update..been fighting that for awhile now.times are really tough on my end and i can't afford to pay for this program..so does anyone know if it is spyware that i need or what else the problem could be??..if it is spyware that i need do you know of a good program i can DL for free...that will not cause me headaches in the longrun...thanks for your time
