Look at Snow by Stephen Chatman, and I was looking for any possible musical suggestions on why Chatman would use an un-metered structure? I was also wondering what effect his choice (writing with no time signature) has on the overall composition. Thank you so much for all of your help in advance!

I am in eighth grade and I go to a Catholic school where all of the eighth graders "adopt" a kindergartener as a little brother or sister for the whole school year. Well now it's April and the year ends in June. As our last get together, we take a trip to a park about a mile away from the school and when we get back to the school, we give each other gifts. The eighth graders all hand make their gifts and we have to write a story for them. They have to be a character and we have to be a character, and we have to be able to illustrate the story as well. My kindergartener is a girl and so am I, but I don't want to do something like a princess in a locked castle who gets saved by her friend. I was looking for something more original, but it has been awhile since I have been in kindergarten. So, what do kindergarteners like to read about?

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and this will be my last Valentine's Day at the school I've been at for 11 years, so everyone is doing something to make it super special. I wasn't sure what to write in my Valentine cards though, because now we are all 13 and 14. Most things lead to perverted jokes, so I have to be careful of that, too. Does anyone have any ideas about what I should write in Valentine cards for teenagers, mostly 13 - 14 year olds?

Our school colors are red and white, but we don't have a mascot or logo. It is a Catholic school, and an eighth grade newspaper. Please help me, I am the only one working on this newspaper and I have no idea what it should be called.

I'm 13 and going as an eighties girl for Halloween this year. I have a really bright costume I put together using some of my old dance recital costumes, and my hair is going to be really teased and big with hot pink hairspray streaks. I wasn't sure whether I should use bright red or bright pink lipstick, though. It needs to look really good because I'm going with a bunch of people, including the guy I like.
