System stability question- I've got an ancient PC - Via KM266 chipset I want to upgrade its organs?
In BIOS, 200Mhz system bus is the maximum I can select but it only supports 2x 2.5 volt DDR 184 pin, currently I'm using 1x DDR333 underclocked to 266Mhz (133Mhz system bus) I want to use DDR400 but normally they're in 2.6+ volt area, I also want to use the 400Mhz FSB CPU
Am I in right the direction?

2 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoWhat's the AC voltage from the battery?
A 12V battery gives a 16V AC on my multimeter and the other AA's gives 4 times higher in AC than their rated DC voltage.
I believe batteries don't have ripple voltages so what are they?
1 AnswerEngineering1 decade agoAcceleration Question?
A ball is travelling 2 m/s downhill towards the edge of the cliff & has a free fall of 100 meters to the ground. I've worked out if the ball was dropped from the height of 100 meters it would hit the ground @ 44.3 m/s but in my scenario the ball was already doing 2 m/s before the free fall so what's the velocity upon impact?
Do I add 2 & 44.3 m/s?
air resistance excluded
Thanks
1 AnswerPhysics1 decade agoIn 3 phase system how do you calculate the total power consumed by the balanced load?
Phase Voltage = 240, Phase current = 10A
therefore in Delta source, 240 x 17.32 (line current) = 4156.8W. This 4156.8 watts, is this the total power or is it the power per phase?
while in Star source, 415.68 (line voltage) x 10 = 4156.8W. Again, is this total or per phase power?
What confuses me is that if we separate the 3 windings from the source then run them parallel or series as single phase, it turns out the total power is 7200 watts, that's 240 x 10 x 3.
4 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoIf I touch the + terminal of the 120V battery while standing on the ground barefooted do I get electric shock?
I still can't understand the need of grounding on power system. If I connect the - wire to the ground then the + is attracted to the ground and vice versa. Grounding actually makes things dangerous? If non is attached to the ground then I could touch either wire while standing barefooted & not electrocuted.
Is ground(literally) simply a conductor?
2 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoWhy there's Low Power Factor Penalty imposed by the electric company?
First Q: If low PF load borrows power then return it back to the source why charge for more?
Second Q: If a reactive load needs 1.5kVA to produce 1kW of useful work then why didn't they just charge 1.5kW worth of power?
4 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoA generator is rated 60V@6000 RPM open circuit, 135A@6000 RPM short circuit, what's the power @ 6000 RPM?
The generator is Unregulated
If I could maintain the RPM @ 6000 regardless of torque needed, does it mean the max power is 8100 watts @ 6000 RPM?
60V x 135A = 8100 W?
Does the Voltage stays 60 if I put a load that draws 135 Amps while keeping the RPM @ 6000?
If not, what RPM must be needed to produce 60V@135A when loaded with 8100 Watts?

I'm just interested on the girl version - it has that slow ballad like tune to it and girl's voice is angelic. It's sounds a lot better than the original.
3 AnswersGeneral - Australia1 decade agoIs it possible to use one conductor from different kind sources to power the loads?
12v, 24v, & 48v batteries all their negative(-) terminals connected together to 12v, 24v, & 48v loads. While the positives have their own wire. The point here is to save the cost of having each a seperate negative wire.
