I woke up one day with numbness in my pinky and ring fingers. I've had this before so I didn't think much of it but it didn't go away. I was diagnosed with an Ulnar Nerve injury or "Golfer's Elbow" probably due to repetitive stress and told to wear a brace. After a few days I had a lot of pain in my elbow accompanied by swelling as well as a lot of swelling in may hand - I wasn't moving my hand because it hurt my elbow so much so it just hung there which may have caused the swelling. I ditched the brace. After about a week my hand/fingers were back to normal but my elbow was super-sensitive. I lightly bumped it against the arm of my chair and I was nearly in tears. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I wake up to find the extender muscles in my forearm don't work. With my palm facing down my wrist would just hang there and I could not raise my fingers. This time I was diagnosed with a radial nerve palsy caused by..? I received a CAT scan to ensure I wasn't having a stroke, and X-rays of my shoulder and elbow which were negative. I had an EMG test which revealed I had radial and medial nerve damage. They estimated 2 months to full recovery which I am about a week away from. I have regained virtually all motion but I have a lack of grip strength in my hand. It has improved after physio but not much. None of the Dr's I saw seemed to think my elbow had anything to do with this but I have been getting increased elbow pain again in the last day or two. I also get a lot of elbow pain when trying to grip with my hand and it is still super-sensitive. A slight bump will have me screaming. I don't know what to do now. The Dr's don't believe my elbow pain is as bad as it is. Any ideas?

I have a hard-wired doorbell (a button at each door with a bell upstairs and down all connected together). One day when I wasn't home, someone rang the doorbell and the button got stuck. The bell kept going off constantly. My wife was able to get the button un-stuck and the sound stopped but there was an odor of burned plastic both at the upstairs and downstairs bells. Now when the button is pressed you can only hear a soft buzzing sound and only if you are near the bell. Would this be a bad transformer? I can't even find the transformer. I'm wondering if whoever installed it, buried it in the wall somewhere. Does each bell have it's own transformer or is there only one for the whole system? Any help would be appreciated.

I have an old GE electric stove made by Camco. I am trying to remove the stove top burner elements for cleaning and I can't figure out how to take them off. I do not have a manual as the stove was here when I bought the house.

I know this is possible because I once took my phone out of my pocket and there were 3 different screens in a thumbnail view. I want to be able to minimize my browser so that I can answer a text and not have to re-navigate back to where I was in the browser. I have a Samsung Corby Pro. Thanks!

My bathroom sink didn't have a P-trap so I installed one. Now the sink drains remarkably slowly. Why does it do this and how can I correct the problem?

I had my roof re-shingled in the spring and now I have icicles coming from every eaves trough. The temperature recently rose enough that the ice has begun to melt. The ice was built up outside my bedroom window and the water has somehow crept under the window and has damaged to wall underneath. I removed the ice build-up, dried everything out, and re-caulked the window. There is also a leak at my bay window (separate from the main roof). I guess my question is...why do I have all of this ice since I had my roof replaced?
