After 8 years of Bush's government, We stand with more than 2 million jobs lost, a national debt of 1 trillion dollars, economy in mess, $800 billion spent already in Iraq with no real benefits to our country except a false premise that we are better off and safe with democratic Iraq. We were never threatened by Iraq in the 1st place. It was

countries like SaudiArabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

And a big threat of financial meltdown having the ability to create big job losses. We’ve come to this point after eight years of President Bush waging a war on fiscal responsibility. His Republican philosophy of removing all accountability from big business

— and expecting no responsibility from them in return — has created this crisis that now threatens to devastate America’s working families.

8 years of Clinton rule had better checks and balances in the economy creating financial stability and a big surplus in the budget instead of a hole. In the light of above, I tend to be more inclined to trust Democrats and Obama as President.

I feel he and Democrats would be better for fixing our economy and taking us to the path of little progress and prosperity, if not much.

Can somebody comment on the following and share their thoughts. It's a long writeup, needs a little patience.

But some would definetely find it interesting and worth commenting.

1) Why moderate muslims are getting reduced in this world ? I do not hear their voice. But if at all I hear; it contains sermons to non-muslim societies that they should address their genuine reasons and frustrations.

Why blame non-muslims for thir violence and lack of opportunities in their societies. Are non-muslims responsible for thousands of muslims who have died in Iraq by thir own in-fighting ?

Is this simply march of fundamentalists/ Jehadists.

Why I do not see any normal hard working muslims oppose the extremism propagated through their Imams and religion.

Does it mean that their are not too many enlightened muslims left or if exists, they fear for their life and keep quiet.

2) Why the non-muslim population in some muslim majority countries has never increased but instead

has reduced to minimum or completely wiped out. Like 30 years ago, Bangladesh had 30% Hindu population, now

just 4%, majority migrated to India and a large number murdered or converted.

Lebanan had 70% Christian population 30 years back, now only 30% --thanks to Hizbollah.

Christian populations in Iraq, Iran have just vanished.

3) Why they consider any attempt to modernize and educate their country through education and best

practices as un-Islamic and western intrusion and attempt to undermine their Islamic lifestyle.

Why there fear that education would corrupt their women?

4) Why western countries have to appease Islamic countries by accepting Sharia banking and Islamic bonds

in their financial lexicon. Religion should be separate from business.

5) Why muslim populations in majority non-muslim countries like Europe, India, etc. always blame the

government for bias and for everything not going right with them. Muslims in Europe gain information from AlZazeera TV

and refuse to integrate with the main stream population and shout partiality and bias against them. Why?

6) Saudi Arabia is spending billions of petro dollars in Central Asian countries (old Soviet block) to teach religion, which

are mainly moderate muslims due to long rule of communism. Why ? So that they can discover the true Islam which

is Wahabism style fundamentalist, intolerant and downright medieval.

Is it right?

7) Show me a moderate and moderm muslim country where non-muslims live without fear and are prospering? Yes there is one--Turkey ! Well it has 99.5% muslims--

there is hardly any non-muslim left to show their secular credentials.

Do you know any other such country ?

8) Now that the whole modern and civilized world is seeing that all terrorism towards western countries

is coming 100% from Islamic terrorists, though there is a large number of good and moderate muslims too.

Why none of those moderates have ever spoken against these violent entities living amonsgst them?

Do they indirectly support their every action against non-muslims as OK as long as it is not

directed against thir own society.

9) I have heard than visiting a prostitute in Muslim countries is not allowed but permitted, if it is Sharia compliant.

I mean, they marry before the visit and divorce after the visit. Is that good?

10) I have heard that average lower middle class muslims are finding it difficult to marry as they cannot give enough money toward bride dowry?

Which means thousands of their kind remain un-married and forced to live without any sexual activity. Which meand soon they become frustrated as most of them are without any significant jobs

and they get attracted to religion and Imams and soon get brain washed and become haters and become easy

material for violence on some false pretext against their own government as well as other non-muslim majority countries.

Is that right?

Why Muslims do not get similarly agitated when thousands of innocent muslims are getting and gotten killed as genocide by Islamic terrorists in many countries??
