I have Diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs and in alot of pain. The problem I am having is that the Meds they want to give me cause me to become so tired. I have tried neurontin and lyrica etc. I think the issue is that I have Hashimotos thyroiditis and my tsh last tested (3 wks ago) was over 600. This is not a typo it was over 600. that along with obstructive sleep apnea I stay fatigued. I have asked for Narcotics so i can control when I need pain relief but it's like pulling teeth they just don't want to do it. How can I make them understand? The pain is intense/

this is really frustrating....put netflix app on motorola atrix,it works great....except really do not want to watch movies on a phone,when you plug the hdmi into tv,the only option is the pics and video on phone,how can i get netflix to show up on tv?

Both male. Lab is 7 american bulldog 2. Have been togeather since bulldog was a pup (8wks). They were the best of friends until a few weeks ago when bulldog just snapped and attacked the lab. Now we have to keep them seperated . How can we get the bulldog to stop this behavior. Keeping them seperated is misery for us.

I had a huge abscess lanced and wicked a week ago. I have had it repacked twice. The abscess has gone down alot but there is still a solid lump ( about the size of a quarter) and redness. The lump itself is very hard but still very tender. The wick came out by itself on Saturday. I have finished my antibiotics. I am very insulin resistant right now and my sugars are still running very high (300-400). I cant decide weather I should go back to the doctor or if this is what is expected..anyone have any experience with this?

The last week my American Bull Dog has become very aggressive towards our male lab. Just found out the dog 4 doors down is in heat..could that be the reason why? And if so when this is over will he return to his lovable self?

My 2 yr old American Bulldog has suddenly become very aggressive towards our other dog and also towards people that he used to like. He will be fine then suddenly starts growling and gets a fixed stare and then goes after them. He showes no aggression towards the family but I am afraid to have people over. What can I do. He is a very powerful dog. FYI He has never ever been mistreated he lives with a bunch of little girls and has been babied and pampered for his whole life.

I have been on synthroid 200mcg for years and just got my newest TSH levels which were insanely high at 168.25. anything else i could try? I have hashimoto's btw

I heave a cat that we got from the humane society 2 yrs ago and he is driving me nuts. When we got him he was sick and required round the clock care for a respitory infection. He has of course recovered but he is a pain in our butts over food. he is crazy when it comes to food. He always has dry food and gets 2 cans of wet food a day. But anytime any one is in the kitchen he screams for more (wet) food, he jumps at our plates and he gets in the trash.Not only that but he growls the entire time he eats and if you get near him when he eats he will attack you. What can I do.

I have 2 male dogs a 7 yr old Lab and a 1 yr old American Bull dog. ( both are not neutered). They have never faught and always played well togeather until yesterday when the bull dog growled at me over a piece of ham, needless to say all hell broke loose and the dogs went at it. The lab really tore the bull dog up (the bull dog was the agressor) now they cant be in the same room without growling and snarling ..what do I do? I have made an appt. to have the bulldog fixed next weds. any other suggestions

My cat keeps bring me critters. As I write this I have a live chipmunk under my couch. Monday it was a dead squirrel and I could go on and on. We have a dog door so he can come in and out to use the bathroom ( he will not use a litterbox) I love him to death and feed him very very well . He doesn't eat the critter he just brings them to me and drops them at my feet (or pillow). Is there anything I can do to get him to stop this behavior.?

I have a 7yr old black lab whom I adore. I am a stay at home mom so I am always with him. Problem is he is way to attached to me.He follows me every where I go sleeps beside me (on the floor) and will not even eat unless I stand beside his bowl or he just gets a mouthful and brings it into the living room to eat it. But now if I leave him he chews his tail (which now has no hair and hugh open wounds. The vet has him on meds (prozac) but it doesnt help. I am leaving on vaction for a week in June but I'm afraid he will not eat or get very ill. What can I do?

I have a hugh sty and my eye is swollen shut and i am in alot of pain. I want to go to my optometrist but I know I will need pain meds. Can he do this or will I need to see an ophthalmologist as they are a md?

I have some Contractors at my house and I arrived home early to find a strange odor im my house. i know they were smoking something just not sure what.It smelled like electrical wires burning. Any ideas? I had painters there.

I have been taking oxycodone for about a month for neuropathic pain but I am going to stop because it makes breathing difficult What type of withdrawal can I expect? And for how long. I take 4 7.5 a day. never any more.

I know i'm going to catch hell for posting this but I am terrified. Last night while taking my heart medication I dropped the pill (in the kitchen) my husband and I have looked everywhere and can not find it. I am terrified that my daughter or one of our pets will find it and put it in their mouth. It's a very strong beta blocker and it would be fatal. so as a last resort i'm as for anyone for help.

i have a friend with a 13 yr old non verbal autistic son who has a real problem with masturbating ( often in public) and hunching everything and everybody. The school is very concerned because he is a large and very strong kid and is starting to be inappropriate with other kids. For any parents out there with autistic children.. how is this handled?
