  • Good soccer team name?

I'm looking for suggestions for names for my son's U12 rec. soccer team. The uniforms are black with white stripping; we need a name that sounds intimidating! :)

  • Did you know these facts?

Here's food for thought. Since it's a bit too long to post here (but not really long) go to this website, read through to the end, then come back here and post a reply.

  • Where did this absurd idea come from that mankind didn't write things down in pre-diluvian times?

    Seriously.

Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam...

ADAM wrote the book up to this this point which was passed eventually passed on to Noah....

Gen 10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah...

The book was added on to by his sons and eventually passed to Shem who btw was still alive when Abraham was called out of UR...

Who the heck to you think wrote those geneologies down and passed them on to their children?!?!?! How would Abraham know about all those people who existed before the flood if there wasn't a written record?!?! Adam's grandchildren were creating cities, were cattlemen, made musical instruments, created metal objects out of bronze and iron, etc..If they could do all that, don't you think they could scratch symbols out for sounds?!?! Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, we were monkeys up until a few years ago. Silly me.

  • What was that show...?

I can't remember the main character's real name or the name of the show. It was on one of the top 3 stations, and the girl worked in a mortuary. Her "gift" allowed her to go back in time 3 days and "fix" something in the dead person's life so they wouldn't die. This was only on for one season I think. Thanks in advance!

  • having trouble with essay prompt..."freedom isn't free..." plz help, serious answers only?

I have to write an essay agreeing or disagreeing with the following prompt . "Freedom isn't free. It passes on an enormous debt to the recipient." I agree with this but am having trouble thinking up enough arguments for it since I have to use supporting details for my opinion and refute opposing arguments. Opinions and web sites would be appreciated, serious answers only please.
