How do I make bubble solution?
I bought some that just doesn't work well and would like to try making my own for the kids. Dish soap and water has never worked for me. Anyone know how to do it in a way that we can actually blow bubbles and not just end up with a mess and crying children?
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoHas anyone had a dog with parvo?
The vet thinks my dog has parvo, but I'm not sure the symptoms match. She didn't have a fever when he checked her,and she seemed to improve for a while. The only way she could have gotten it would have been if an infected dog was in our yard, and that doesn't seem very likely. It's possible, but not likely.I want to hear from someone that has actually had a dog that had parvo, and compare experiences. She will be going back to the vet today, but I don't know if he is treating her enough or for the right thing. She has been sick for almost a week.
12 AnswersDogs1 decade agoCan anyone give me a logical reason to believe in some kind of supreme Deity?
Sure,go ahead and insult me if you wish, but this is not for Atheists(that will be a seperate one),and I'm looking for something beyond "God is real" or,"Look around and see for yourself".I have looked,I have read,I have believed, now I wish for something that might satisfy the rational part of my brain.I mean,it really does suck not to believe in anything, but that is where I stand at the moment.Thank you for not being sarcastic...
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs anyone else tired of their disposable, plastic lives?
We're raised on disposable products designed to make things easier, drive cars to get us there faster,e-mail instead of letters, telephones instead of visits. What are we rushing towards, and what's so great about saving time when we don't really use it for anything worthwhile.(This is not for those that have fulfilling lives, only those that feel something missing, like I do.No,it's not Jesus, either!)
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhy do most people not care about the environment?
Do they not realise that they will be running out of clean air, water and food along with the rest of us?It makes me mad to see so many people using OUR resources like they are the only ones entitled to them, leaving my children with less resources and more mess.I'm so sick of this "well,it won't affect me" attitude. It will affect them.OK,I'm going to take a deep breath now.
10 AnswersEnvironment1 decade agoCan you help me with the name of an old t.v. series?
I don't remember much about it,but I think it was about a guy named Simon, who was an older,Brittish guy with silver hair.I want to say it began with an E or I,and that he was a spy or private investigator, but it has been so long I can't remember. It's just one of those things I thought of that I can't get out of my head.It must have been early to mid-80s.I watched it with my mom,and she doesn't remember it,either. And we thought we liked it!Thanks!
5 AnswersTelevision1 decade agoDoes anyone else hate the ice cream man?
Ok,hate is a strong word, but when I hear that music,I start to cringe.I liked him when I was little, but I think the ice cream man gets creepier every year. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous. If he has to jack up the price so much because of the increase in gas prices, shouldn't he just stay home?Is it just me?Will I start turning on the mail man next?
11 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoDoes anyone know if there are solar street lights, anywhere?
I think that would be the easiest way to save energy, but I don't think anyone has done it yet.I wonder why? They make solar lights for yards.
3 AnswersEnvironment1 decade agoWho will wish me Happy Birthday?
I've been a little down, lately, and this might cheer me up a bit.Sometimes, one needs to feed the ego,a little bit.I LOVE this site!
18 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoIs a microwave more energy effecient than the stove?
My microwave went crazy, getting way too hot and heating everything up around it,and I don't know if it's more environmentally friendly to replace it and not use the stove or oven,or if I should just do it the old-fashioned way.Seems like the microwave is better, but I'm not sure.Neither is anyone else I ask.
