  • Determinism or freewill? I am thinking determinism. I am not proposing that anyone can know the future,?

but that the present actions are determined. Try to name one factor in one’s making a decision that doesn’t fall under past experience, or maybe the effect of some genetics; maybe a inborn spirit, but once again, that spirit is just as well a gene because it is fixed and with you at birth. After that, all things I have thought of that may contribute to a beings decision making would be random factors, yet, they would not allow freewill. Due to these factors, and the lack of any factor pointing to a reason to even hope for a freewill, I believe through my logic that determinism is the way of our universe, humans are no exception, and there may be an amount of randomness within all this, but, from what I know, definitely there is no freewill, it just would not make sense. Actions either have reasons, which would determine the action, or they don’t, making them random. One looks at the reasons and picks out the choice of action that is most desirable to them every time.

  • Somethings about freedom... Could it even exist?

freedom is such a strange thing to think about. I am free to be protected from killers but killers are not suppose to be free to kill. For every law we lose a freedom, for every lack of a law we lose a freedom just as in this example given. If it was legal for killers to kill i would not be free to not worry about being killed. So really, we can't be any more free or less free at any time due to this. But since the laws set up by people can be broken anyway and they are just suppose to have consequence that may or may not occur, we are actually free to do anything we can imagine and are capable to do. Yet, in the end, I believe that everything is determined anyway since there is no other factor to determine our actions other then our past and maybe genetics, and anything else would have to be attributed to randomness, which is not attributed to free will either. So everyone is entirely without freewill despite their making choices.

  • How do i get to my physical peak?

I am twenty years old, I have wrestled, ran cross-country, worked landscaping, and worked-out a lot in my life. I feel close to my peak but not there. What are some reccomended foods, suppliments, exercises, or anything else you can think that could help me make my body reach some sort perfection for what I have to work with?
