Reading 1

Wis 1:13-15; 2:23-24

God did not make death,

nor does he rejoice in the destruction of the living.

For he fashioned all things that they might have being;

and the creatures of the world are wholesome,

and there is not a destructive drug among them

nor any domain of the netherworld on earth,

for justice is undying.

For God formed man to be imperishable;

the image of his own nature he made him.

But by the envy of the devil, death entered the world,

and they who belong to his company experience it.

Peace, y'all!

I'm Christian. Roman Catholic. I've just responded to at lest 3 posts (in a row) attacking my faith.

#1: "Not 10 people in the world hate Catholicism. Millions hate what they mistake Catholicism for."

#2: Is there something so wrong with wanting a little order for a couple hours a week? (If you're into it, it carries over to the rest of the week.)

Why am I hated for wanting guidance on how to live my life & wanting to not have to figure out how to do it on my own?

#3: Why do so many people want me to be confused & angry like them? I'm happy, which upsets them. Why?

I pray to God Almighty that I don't get TOO much hate mail from my fellow humans...that's you guys.

Have mercy in your answers, please.
