My 11 year old son came to me this morning telling me that a friend of his said the author of "The Golden Compass" doesn't believe in God. I explained to him that just because someone doesn't have the same views or same opinion as he does doesn't make them a bad person. I truly believe that and believe that "Do not judge others" is one of the most important passages that frequently gets ignored by everyone.

Any way this led me to ask this question becaue I thought it was interesting. If Atheism is the belief in the non existance of God or other dieties doesn't that mean that they have to believe in something in order to say that they don't believe?

Who else saw the monstrocity on Macy's when the performers from Xanadu performed? The movie was absolutely horendous, but the broadway show must be a nightmare! (Of course I had already heard that it was worse than the movie from a former professor of mine). And to quote another professor of mine, "What were they thinking?"

My eyes are scarred and if that is the kind of crap that is allowed on Broadway the theatre world is in jepordy!

My daughter's email was being used by some girl to talk to older men. She opened up all sorts of accounts with her email address...adult websites, chat rooms etc. Well as a parent I just thought these websites might like to know that the account was fake. So I started emailing or calling these companies to make them aware of the situation. I just received one of the most rude emails I have ever gotten in my life from Helga, the pre-operative transexual.

What makes people so bitter that they have to lash out?

This account was opened with my daughter's email, and she has been using my daughter's email to communicate with people. What can I do to catch this person? She has denied the whole thing, but all the pieces of the puzzle point to her. Her father is in denial and isn't listening to what I am telling him at all. I've contacted the local authorities, but they are dragging their feet. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
