To solve this we isolate the radical, square both sides and proceed as usual.

u-2sqrt(u)=0

u = 2qrt(u)

(u)^2 = (2sqrt(u))^2

u^2 = 4u

u^2-4u = 0

u(u 4) = 0

Therefore, by the Zero-factor property we have that either u = 0 or u-4 = 0 and thus the two solutions are u = 0 and u = 4.

At this point we are not quite finished. We need to go back and replace u with t^2 -3t and

thus we really have t^2 3t = 0 and t^2 -3t = 4.

1) To solve t^2 -3t = 0 we can use the Zero-factor property again.

T^2 -3t = 0

t(t 3) = 0

t = 0 or t = 3

2) To solve t^2 -3^t = 4 we again use the Zero-factor property.

A month ago my cousin was killed in a terrible car accident and we have realized that her mother had never become Facebook friends with her. Now her Facebook has become a beautiful memorial where everyone who loved her is posting messages and showing their love and support for our family. But her mom (my aunt) can't see it or post on it. I would like to somehow help her find a way to become friends with my cousins Facebook page. I don't want to hack my cousins page or anything, that just doesn't feel right, but I'm not sure how we could go about doing this.

Was there ever a catcher on the Arizona Diamond Backs named Juan?

I am currently searching for a school within Florida to transfer to. I atteneded Saint Leo University, I liked it but didn't love it. I visted Stetson University yesterday and fell in love with the campus, but not the price. It is $50,000 a year for Stetson and $40,000 a year for Saint Leo. I would really like to find a school that is similar to these two schools but at a lower cost. I enjoy the small school feeling and the beautfiul campus and someplace that is somewhat close to home (Palm Coast,FL). Does anyone have any suggestions? (: *Also my major is Education
