What should I do about smelly neighbors?
I recently lived someplace where I had nosy neighbors. I moved thinking the problem was solved, but now I have extremely stinky neighbors. The neighbors in question lived in this apartment before we did, but went to the 2 bedroom across the hall for more space because this couple had themselves and 2 toddlers in a small 1 bedroom apartment. When I viewed the apartment they were in here, and there was a weird smell but I thought it was just something they had cooked that day and it was no big deal. I was concerned that their toddlers were running around the room nude, covered in slobbers and snot. I have noticed them several times since running naked in the foyer between our apartments, and these are toddlers who stumble and can barely speak so I know they should have diapers on...without them they must just be defecating on the floor. Anyways, aside from that AWFUL smell, they cook the most horrible smelling food. I think they are Jamaican and I was reading about the spices they use and the curries they make and that is what it smells like is curry. I think curry smells like B.O.! The smell is so overwhelming. We had the apartment professionally carpet cleaned, painted and we did extremely intense cleaning and it still smells. Part of the smell is obviously coming from them across the hall cooking. The old smell has penetrated everything to the point where I cant stand to eat here, cook here, and I can barely sleep. When they are cooking I get a runny nose and I sneeze non stop, not to mention the stomach churning. I have 2 scentsy pots going 24/7, those car tree air fresheners in every closet, 2 febreeze plug ins, 2 glade plug ins, several candles I burn frequently and the smell is still awful in here, and horrible coming over here when she has her door open or cooks. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas of how to get rid of the smell? I already complained when I moved in that the carpets were dirty and they had left the walls disgusting so the manager was nice enough to get it carpet cleaned and painted, so I hate to complain more...I'm not even sure they could do anything about her cooking. Is it wrong to ask them to put diapers on their children? I know in other areas of the world they don't use diapers, but I think when you're here and living in an apartment building it should be required for sanitation. Any suggestions? I'm really struggling with this. I am a very clean person and I'm sensitive to smells, but even my fiance who just had nasal surgery and doesn't have a strong sense of smell is overwhelmed by this.

I live in an apartment building which is just a long building with 6 apartments all right next to one another. I am in the 5th apartment and my neighbor on the end in #6 is a complete nuisance. We have lived here for 7 months now. She has called our landlord numerous times and called the police on us 3 times now too. This all started about a week after we moved in, she knocked on our door at 2 am and said she felt that we were up too late and that the smell of my scentsy was horrible and she was allergic to it. I said I didn't see a problem with being up late doing homework since I was sitting there in silence, not bothering anyone. Also, my scentsy smells good; that is the whole point of one. Anyways, this led to her calling the police and landlord saying we were loud and "smelly". She called the landlord once more about the smell (which she called and questioned us about) and another time she called the police because we were noisy again supposedly. One night there was banging on our door at about 3 am which woke us up, which we are fairly certain was the neighbor or her son. She called the police on us again the following day saying we were "banging on the wall to harass her" because we nailed one of those chain locks on the door. Seriously, this woman is driving me bonkers. We are so quiet and gone quite often so I don't know how she could complain. The neighbor in #4 said the landlord has called her asking if we are noisy and smelly which she thought was hilarious apparently considering how gross and loud the previous tenants were. I've tried talking to this woman, I have spoken to my landlord about her but I feel like she is believing this mad woman's stories! Tonight my landlord shows up at my door saying there was a complaint that we had a 3rd person living in our tiny apartment which is ridiculous because for one the apartment is too small and also I don't know who she thinks that would be since we rarely have anyone over...and the people we do have over never stay long because there isn't a lot of parking space here and I don't want to fill up anyone's parking spot with one of my friends cars. Any suggestions here? Talking to her doesn't work and I'm afraid I'll be kicked out of my apartment over some middle aged woman's petty middle school style drama. I'm not above stealthy revenge either, you may think that is petty, but I've put up with a lot the last 7 months.

Do you think it is polite/impolite to keep calling someone back rather than calling once and leaving a voice mail? What do you normally do if you call and no one answers but they have a voice mail box? Also, how do you feel about answering calls from numbers that you do not recognize or come up as "unavailable"?

1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoPassword hint is Jesus Letter?
My boyfriend put a password on my computer and I cannot figure it out. The hint is Jesus Letter. It does not have to do with an alphabetical letter, its something more complicated than that. He has been scolding me about the true meaning of christmas so its probably something to do with that.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is wrong with my nipples?
This is an awkward question to ask but for the last few days my nipples have been itching and swollen. About 5 years ago I had a lump removed from my right breast, it was not cancer and until the last six months I've been fine. My breasts have been sore a lot, not just around my period, and sometimes there are sharp pains on both sides. I know it isn't my detergent making me itch because I use fragrance free. What could this be and is there some simple way to make it stop?
1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade agoCan I file an appeal after the plaintiff files one?
A creditor attempted to sue me to obtain a debt. I appeared for court pro se and they did not, they sent "verification" that they owned the debt and had purchased it from us bank, however this is not true and another company owned it previous to them. I provided evidence that I did not owe the amount, that my payments were sufficient to cover the debt (excluding interest and late fees) and the case was dismissed. However, today we received a letter from the court house saying that it was appealed by a different judge and they decided I should lose the case and be charged interest on a ridiculous debt that I never owe nor can I afford to pay it! I dont understand how this can happen when they dont have evidence or show up for court. Everyone in the magistrates office is acting belligerent and rude and I need to know how I can have the ruling re-appealed or how I can fix this, because apparently this debtor and law office has our local courthouse in its pocket!
