Several Years ago my husband suffered a breakdown and was sectioned. Since then he can be in a great mood (the way he was when we first met) or deep in a depression suicidal even. He can be fine one minute then be very angry for no reason the next (he has never lifted a hand to me or our children). A few days ago i was out with a friend, when i came home we sat and had a chat laughing joking etc then he went into a rage for no reason (i have never seen him like this, and he seemed possessed) it was so serious i had to phone the police.

To let you understand he does have a problem with alcohol, but he only drinks to make himself feel better. I am not making excuses for him, he really does want to stop, but no-one will help him even though he is asking for help. He is on anti-depressants which don't help and when the police took him to hospital they told him it was all because he had been drinking and let him go. He only had 2 glasses of wine and was not drunk when this happened. I have searched the web and everything points to bipolar. Has anyone been in this position or knows someone who has? and how do I get someone to help or even listen???

Please help. I love my husband and he does not even remember anything that happened that night, he is confused and terrifed it will happen again....

A dodgy one...... Me personally I think in certain circumstances you should be by law allowed to take you own life....

eg... If I were diagnosed with a degenerative disease which would eventually make me go into a vegetive state. I would not want my family put through the stress of watching me go that way, and I would not want to be that way also.

As a child my mother was adopted. She has had a good life. My grandmother died 2 years ago and my mum has started to question whether or not she would like to find out where she came from. She has always told me and my brother, if we wanted to find out where she came from (our biological grandparents) we could. We had our doubts. Recently my mum and I have been talking about it and we would like to find out more, although my mum does not want to do it personally, she wants me to do it. Can I get the information we need as a biologoical granddaughter...???? and where do i start as my mum knows nothing about her birth name, where she was born etc etc..

My husband was made redundant in December.  He applied for Jobseekers Allowance right away.....  He should have had money backdated up until today.  He called them today, to be told he did not make enough NI contributions 2005-06 (He was ill for 5 months in hospital, he could'nt work and got incapacity benefit).   He has worked constantly since he was 16, also he served in the forces for 7 years.  Can anyone explain why someone who has payed his dues all his days, not get help until he gets a job which is hard to do since noone is hiring just firing.  I am definately no racist, yet all these immigrants can come to our country and get everything that is going.... GRRRRRRR!!!!

Help!!! I have an idea for a small business. I have no source of funding and my credit is not great. Where do I start?? with bank loans, etc etc.. I know what I need to run a business (common sense), but I just don't know where to start. Is there anywhere you can go that would give you advice face to face??

I do not know if I am pregnant. I have not been trying for a baby. My period was two weeks late but that is not unusal. My period can be regular for 5 to 6 months then late for 3 or 4.

I started bleeding this morning with really bad cramps, labour like cramps. I do take bad cramps but nothing compared to this. Every time I have went to the toilet there has been massive clots. I usually do get clots but nothing compared to these. My bleeding has now tailed off and the cramps are very very light and no clots.

Has anyone been in this situation???

I know if it has been a miscarriage there is nothing that can be done, but it would put my mind at rest....

My husband was given 2 weeks notice by his employer.. It does state on the letter that it may not happen....

My husband did not want to wait two weeks to see whether he was or was not unemployed so has been given another job, but requires him to start on Monday. Does my husband have to give notice even although his employer has given him notice....

A friend has a child who has to be nasally tube fed.... Her child is constantly gagging, and has twice turned blue due to choking... She is trying aimlessly to get her chiild an operation to have a tube put into her child's stomach, but is not getting any further forward with doctors.... Is there a timescale to which a child should be fed this way (nasal)???

My friend is getting married on 2nd January. As one of the bridesmaids she has asked for advice on favours with a difference..... Firstly she thought of xmas theme, but as it is on 2nd January I suggested a new year theme. eg calenders for woman. Does anyone else have any suggestions for a new year theme with a difference?????

I live in North Lanarkshire Scotland. I am holding a fundraiser for a wee girl who has a rare disease called Zellweger Syndrome. She cannot be treated in the UK and has to travel to Barcelona every 6 months. I am having an auction and need a relatively good prize. The bigger the better the more people will bid. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to get this. I have wrote letters sent e-mails contacted my local radio station but don't seem to be having any luck. Please Help maybe you work for someone, or have a family member who could donate this prize.
