My 1 year lease expired the first of August 2013, I am now month to month. However my property management company has changed and they want me to sign a new lease and an increase in my rent. Do i have to sign a new lease if my original contract says after the lease expires I am month to month? I have tried to contact the new lease company and they won't return my calls.. What can they do? What can I do?

How would a grandparent begin action against unmarried parents of 3 young/infants who are in the grandparents care most of the time, where the father is verbally abusive to children and physically abusive to mother when the parents are together.. and drinking excessively.. Grandparents keep children most all the time but have no rights when mother and/or father want the children.. for an evening or overnight.. Mother and/or father have not been heard from in over 36-48 hours and no one can seem to find them.. until they sober up or ??? this is not a good environment for kids and they cannot even afford to heat the home.. so take children to other grandparents home for time they do choose to spend with the children. police have been involved in domestic violence cases in the past.. but mother keeps going back to father and putting kids in danger.. where does a grandparent start..?

and relocation costs and early lease termination fees for promising me a long term job which would include in my pay relocation costs I paid (they wouldn't pay) and since I would not violate government procurement laws they fired me. I have already contacted a lawyer regarding the unethical issues and since I don't have recorded or on paper proof would not represent me. Several lawyers have said this.. so my only option is to report them to DCMA for fraud and contract violations. I would rather just get the money that is due me than report them. But my fear in writing such a letter to the CEO of the company as it would be construed as bribery and don't want to get myself into a legal battle. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
