The Burlesque Show!

Hi everyone,

I recently re-installed my Sims Double Deluxe to my newly updated computer (its now Windows 7). I quickly went to the exchange to download a bunch of stuff for my game, but as it turns out, none of it shows up after I successfully downloaded!

I have already created a Downloads file like previously instructed, to no avail. I have also enabled CC in Game Options, then restarted the game several times, also with no luck.. I have reinstalled the game twice and that didn't make CC show up either.

Any other suggestions of what I should try? :/

I just got a new golden retriever puppy 2 weeks ago. (She is now 10 weeks old.) Tonight, I was in the bathroom that connects to the room where she hangs out and I took her in with me. I picked her up and she saw herself in the mirror.

After I put her down and closed door, she started running over to the door scratching it and whining to go in. I opened the door for her to show her there is no one in there, I opened the mirror cabinet so when I pick her she only sees hair products, deodorant, etc.

If she continues to do this for awhile, what should I do to make it stop?

I know how to clean the outside of it, but how should I clean the inside of my new nostril piercing?

Also, my piercer (who's been piercing for nearly 20 years) told me not to use sea salt at ALL for my new piercing.. I liked using the H20 sea salt spray for my stretched ears on the go, is there anything I could do in place of this when I can't bring my huge bottle of Dial soap along?

So I've been planning on getting a Hello Kitty and bow tattoos for years now. I came across this one tattoo of HK's bows and thought "I NEED that!!". It's possibly the cutest thing and I love both bows and HK so why not? But unfortunately, the lady has everything I would want in the tattoos. The same exact color, shape, location, size, everything. I do NOT want to copy this womans tattoos, but I don't not want to get them either. What should I do and what sorts of modifications should I make for it to be considered ok to get? It's pretty simple so there's not much I could do.

So I've always been interested in 1940s and 50s ever since I was tiny. The whole burlesque and pinup culture is now slowly turning into an obsession, and since I'm turning 18 in a few weeks I'd love to start getting into pinup modeling.

The thing is, I'm pretty short (5'2") and the only modeling experience I've had is going to Barbizon modeling school. Are there any ways I could maybe get myself in the industry and raise my self confidence?

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated :)

What are some good magazines and books primarily about tattoos?

I was reading a little about PCOS today and it kind of worried me, since I had some of the symptoms. I also had a sharp pain in my right arm and when I googled it a link about PCOS came up.

My symptom:

-Increased body hair.. I have dark hair so I've always had some, but lately it's been a LOT.

-Ovarian cysts

-Lately my skin has been breaking out like crazy when normally my skin is pretty clear

-Weight gain

-I don't use birth control and I've never been pregnant.. I know it's silly to think I'm infertile without a proper test but it strikes me as quite odd that I've NEVER become pregnant while having unprotected sex

-My body has always been very hourglass. I always had a tiny waist. But the past 2 years I've developed more of a belly.

Should I consider seeing a doctor or gyno and discussing it with them?

I'm not sure if I should get them. The first and last pieces are so trendy that I don't know if I should buy them. The second dress is really classic, so I know I'll wear it. But I could always just wear a high waisted skirt with a tank underneath, right?

I plan on starting to conceive in a couple years (I know it's awhile, but I wanna do this right and be totally prepared), and I want to be completely and 100% prepared. What are some things I should before I become pregnant? Such as open a savings account especially for the baby, take certain vitamins, etc.?
