I'm writing this question for my dad so there may be a bit of a language barrier and/or misunderstanding

He is currently trying to install a new shower base downstairs and the old base's dimensions were 900x900

The new base is 900x1200 and this has caused the draining hole's location to not match with the house's (as the default base was initially only 900x900)

He was wondering what he should do and he also said that it was important to note that because it was downstairs, moving the hole (which is stuck in concrete) is not possible.

Also, he does not wish to add extra layers to elevate the base in order to add extra piping

I have an iPhone 3G and this morning, I just wanted to play some music but as I pressed the music icon, the iPhone froze and then crashed shortly after.

I tried turning it back on but it was stuck on the apple sign. I tried a few more times during the day but now it's stuck to the USB icon pointing towards iTunes.

When I connect to iTunes however, I only get the option of Restoring it to factor settings WHICH I DONT WANT TO DO.

There is a lot of data I need to keep that is in this phone.

How can I save it?

My iPhone is not jailbroken at all.

A prop is required but I don't know what to bring along...

I was thinking a Lavender for Ophelia however, that doesn't really indicate that I am Laertes but rather Ophelia.

During electroplating, is the mass of the metal deposited on the metal item directly proportional to the concentration of the electrolyte? Why?

I hypothesis that higher electrolyte concentration will increase the mass of the metal deposition. Am I correct? I'm guessing it's this because of the more abundant concentration of ions which will allow for more plating.

Okay so I went to a party with my laptop and harddrive.

I was a bit busy and when i got back, I saw that there were around 4-5 drops off Baileys on my harddrive

It was still working at that time so I just wiped it off and packed everything away

(NOTE, the drops dropped around the cord where it connects to the harddrive itself)

Then when i came home, I plugged in my harddrive and now it doesn't even appear on My Computer.

I tried it on another computer and it still didn't work

I also tried using another cable and that still didn't work

The power still works as when I plug it in, I hear the disk noise and the light appears.

I'm not assuming that it is a hardware problem

But I'm not assuming that it is because of the Baileys either

Let's say that I can't fix it

Is there any way to retrieve this data?

Well here's the story

I want to film something for YouTube.

Like something that will have good quality so I want to be using a good standard video camera

It won't be like mychonny or nigahiga stuff where its a portrait video kind of thing

But more of surroundings and interactions with objects

So then I thought camcorders are best for this quality

My dad recently bought a camcorder so i tried out its video quality

But it was actually worse than the digital camera i had in terms of video

So what would you suggest?

A camcorder or digital camera?

I like the camcorder's constant flash, handling and flip screen (makes it easier to film for videoblogs and stuff)

but digital camera seems to have more quality? I thought it was just for photos

So my mate had a nightmare last night

It went something like this:

Last night, he went to sleep at 3AM.

He has been sleeping at 3AM for the past 3 or so weeks.

He was half asleep so then he started to have this f***d up dream

He was in a random white pitch room and there was this little girl sitting down at a table. (lol matrix)

Then she told him she wanted to talk to him.

So he sat down on the other chair and she was like..

*points*

There was a ghost sitting there in that direction so he woke up puzzled and shocked

(now in Real Life)

Then his body started to become really cold

Then he couldn't move

Then when he could twitch his finger, he was then able to move his entire body

He then went back to sleep after that

(It then happened 3-4 times that night without the dream before he could go to sleep again)

Then towards 5AM he could see a vampire and it smashed all his windows and he got really scared then he was knocked out by the vampire and woke up at 9AM with all his windows shattered.

Okay so the last part didn't happen with the vampire.

What do you guys think about what this REALLY is?

And the cause of it?

I recently had a problem with my laptop which runs on Vista

When I boot it up, I can see the ASUS splash screen with the intel logo beside it

Then its just a black screen

Now I can't access safe mode from this black screen or from the splash screen

What I have done is accessed the "popup menu" via escape during the splash screen

Booted from the CD but although there was no CD found, it just said error

THEN I was able to load the screen with all the options

I chose the option with the most previous known working settings or something like that

It works perfectly but then I found that whenever I boot up my laptop, I will ALWAYS have to load that ESC menu and do everything again

How do I remove this blackscreen ?

Please note that I do not have the Vista CD as my laptop came with Vista installed and I do not want to Format my laptop meaning I would have to buy Vista (which I actually find quite convenient)

And also, I cannot result to System Restore as I noticed that Vista's System Restore is a bit different than XP's System Restore. Vista can only restore to points that were manually made whereas XP has automatically made restore points.

I didn't know this, so I can't result to System Restore

One more thing. I have this AntiMalware program which is quite reliable but I do not wish to use it. I was just wondering if this blackscreen was the result of some kind of virus or trojan and if I should use this program to get rid of it.

I'm pretty sure i have a clog of ear wax in my left ear

I have used some ear drops over the past 2 days

I think it has softened quite much but it isnt out yet

How do I remove it?

I use some cotton sticks to just dig out some of the outer wax since i didnt want to go too deep

I thought the ear wax would remove the wax too
