They have very unrestricted gun laws yet they overwhelmingly voted for Obama. So what are the people like in Vermont? Let me know what you think and tell me if you are from the state or not. Thanks!

If a group is started in a high school that honors white achievement specifically for males and gives out awards for positive actions is there anything wrong with that? If so why?

Black people make up 12% of the population. But I was watching sesame street and had to wait an entire segment to see one white person on the show. Whether it is TV or movies or that awful rap music all I see is black faces.

This seems like a big racist push to put Black people in front of white eyes? What do you think?

What is the best way to get into a gov job. Either state or federal. I have been in corporate America for 8 years and am looking for something in the Gov. I have an engineering degree. What is the best way to move over to the Government? Shouid I apply online for postings? Should I look in the classifieds? Where and how should I approach this? Thanks.

Ok, this is what I know.

A young man is in coastal town. He may be a professor. He works near a college. He has these dreams of the past. He is having deja vu from the dreams in his everyday life. He begins to study or research reincarnation. He dreams of himself walking on a dock and he gets hit by an oar (I think) and dies in the water. In the end the haunting dreams lead him to the dock and he does die the way he dreams.

It seems the movie was made in the 1970's from my memory. Any ideas?

OK all you movie buffs. Can you help me identify this movie? Here is what I know:

I young boy from a rich British family is lost in Africa. He grows up in the wild, raised with animals- monkeys etc. He survives and becomes a man in the jungle. Later a Brit finds him in the jungle and figures out who he is. His family comes down and brings him back to England. He is thrown into a Victorian style life and wins the admiration of some of his family and the scorn of others. He has strong character and challenges some of the elite young men. And I believe he steals the woman of another man. In the end his father dies sliding down the stairs on a food tray.

This film was in color, probably from the 1980's or 1990's.

Any ideas? Can you help?

Besides the song "I wish I were in Dixie" why is it related to the South?

Unemployment is at an all time low. Gasoline prices are going down. There have been no attacks on US soil since 9-11. Inflation has stayed low historically speaking and interested rates are the lowest in history. All of these factors allow American's to fufill their dreams. You can get a job, work and make money to do what you want. Why are people displeased?

As I go to department stores and even sub shops I notice none of the employees say Merry Christmas anymore. I don't understand this. It should not be offensive to wish someone a Merry Christmas. It means they are wishing you well regardless of your religion. If you are not Christian you should feel grateful that someone else cares enough to share their joy with you. Any comments?

I have a 5 acre farmette. I am looking at a 30 HP John Deere with a front loader, finish mower and snow blade. A brand new 2006 runs $22K. Should I go with a John Deere or another brand?

Also should I get the pull behind snow blade, or the one that mounts on the front loader?
