Problems with cats in my garden?
Hi. Driving me insane actually turning me a little bit crazy. When I moved into my house the garden was un used for a long time and like a jungle. We sorted it all out cut the grass out flowers in etc. we built a huge flower bed paid a lot of money filling it with flowers to go outside the next day to find them all ripped up.. This is where it started. Now I can walk into my garden and see 6 or 7 cats just strolling back down the garden. They are ripping bins open, ripping up plants, going to the toilet everywhere (and I mean everywhere!!) and trying to get the fish from my pond. I have tried all the expensive repellents, special sprays, garlic powders especially for this problem, orange peel pepper and coffee and spraying them with water. And having my mums dog round for the weekend. I can never get close enough to them because as soon as I open my door they run and by the time I get near them they are gone but sitting on the other side of the fence waiting. Why are they coming to my house? They are all owned, I never feed them or show them affection. Some times I have left the house, gone back in two mins later and they are all there again!! Like they are waiting for me to leave. Someone please help me! I am an animal lover but this is causin me to become slightly insane- starin out the window at 4am waiting for them and all sorts. Please tell me what I need to do. Thank u!

1 AnswerTrying to Conceive8 years agoMy daughter has been in contact with a child who had chicken pox and now has been sick?
Hiya. On christmas day we visited family including a 3 year old. She had no spots at the time and no body knew she had it until 2 days after. My daughter was in contact with her for 8 hours. She has no signs on chicken pox but today has been sick? She coughed when she ate something and was sick - i thought she was sick from the coughing as she appeared fine. I let her eat again and she was sick again so it appears to be something else? I cant find much on nausea/sickness being related to chicken pox?? Is this yhe start? Also does chicken pox needed medical attention? Thanks
6 AnswersParenting8 years agoSleep problems for nearly 2 year old how to get her sleeping?
Hi, i apologise in advance if this is long but please bear with me as im desperate.
My daughter will be 2 feb 14th. the problem start when was 6 months old in hosp. With septicaemia. she had drips, antibiotics by IV ( screamed from start to finish 20 minutes long every 4 hours 24
hours a day) she was being injected and fed and i put her in the hospital bed with me. i dont regret it i needed to comfort her and im sure most mothers would have done that same. Im aware i caused the problems i have today but im paying for it now but i wouldnt have done it differently. So today i have a 22month old little girl who will not sleep in her cot since those days ( she was in hosp a further 3 times after that and it continued from there). If i manage to get her to sleep in the cot after falling asleep on me when she wants to, she will wake up to come in bed with me. 'daddy, bed, milk' is what she says when i pick her up. or she will fall in bed with me from the start. Ive been doing it because im being selfish really because i work and need sleep and so does she. My partner isnt a small guy and im up atleast ten times a night hanging off the edge of the bed with legs in my face and everywhere else!! Im tired im moody im irritable and sometimes the tiredness makes me feel like im depressed.shes no better shes a miserable grumpy over tired little girl from the minute she wakes up, wont sleep in the day either. ive tried controlled crying and her dad didnt agree with it and said he thought it was nasty etc. so we waited until this age. So i tried it today under advice from health visitor and im about to go back in when i find her walking towards me 'hiya' with big smile because she has climbed out of her cot!! Please someone help me. Im exhausted and want the best for her most of all, and me secondly. Please someone give me some ideas as to what i can do now As im a starting to become desperate! A cot bed?? New technique anything please help me!

Hi I'm not looking for answers saying 'go to the dcotors we don't know' I'm looking for opinions/advise following medical advice this morning. I suffer from recurrent tonsillitis. Constantly swollen tonsils which flare up once or twice a month quite badly. I spoke to my doctor who told me this morning I've had the antibiotics too much and by the time they kick in the tonsillitis will be gone. But since then I am finding it hard to breathe, they are so swollen that I tried to take a painkiller tablet earlier and it got wedged between them. When i swallow air or saliva or whatever, I feel a pain from my neck down to between my breasts. I dread breathing because of the pain, I have the usual other pain but this is much worse than before. Can tonsillitis 'spread'? And also do you think I should forget what doctor said and go for help? Thanks
3 AnswersOther - General Health Care9 years agoGnat bite on boob, swollen , yellow and bleeding? ?
Hello. Have gnat bite on breast, it's made the whole thing swollen everywhere . The bite is a yellow hole with pus and blood,
It's next to a freckle/mole I've always had and it's so swollen it's torn where my skin has stretched so much. Very painful. What do I need to do? Do I need to visit a doctor or not? I don't want to waste time but at same time I was up all night in pain. If I don't need a doctor what medication would you suggest? Thanks

10 AnswersPolls & Surveys9 years ago17 month old out or routine? ?
Hi. My 17 month old wakes up at 8.bottle and breakfast. Lunch at 12 Sleeps 12.30-2. Dinner at 5.30 bath at 7.30 book milk bed at 8. Well at least she used to, she has started to refuse her daytime nap, and wants to sleep anytime between 2-4 pm.sometimes that would mean she slept 4-6pm meaning she wouldn't go to bed until 11pm! She's also decided she doesn't want to go to be at 8 anymore and wants to wonder around he house winging until she eventually falls asleep. This is making her a very miserable tired child. How do I get her back into routine as she is refusing sleep most of the time and wont sleep until she finally just drops. I've never had to deal with this before, my mum says put her to bed at normal time and of she cries she cries but don't know if I have the heart to do it although I know sometimes she is so tired shed be asleep within minutes. Please advise on what's best here as its making for a very miserable overtired child and mum too! X

4 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years ago17 month old started sleeping too late in afternoon?
Hiya. Daughter usually up at 8-9am and used to sleep in between 8-9pm with a nap 12-2.30 afternoon. Now she won't sleep at 12 anymore, and wants to sleep 2-4.30 which is bad because I can't get to sleep until 10pm. How do I change this? She does show some signs of being tired around 12ish. I've tried putting her in the pram for a walk, and taking her in a dark room all of that. She just won't sleep that early anymore. What can I do? X
