What's wrong with the Government's Math?
Even if we take the best of both parties offers, we're talking about 1.6 Trillion of both revenue and budget cuts, that's 3.2 Trillion ... over 10 years, or 320 Billion per year ... Wait a minute ... that doesn't even come close to what we need to do.
Hello .. .is anyone doing the math. Our Deficient is over a Trillion dollars per year, so how is this meager approach going to solve the debt problem. Instead of borrowing a Trillion a year, we’ll only borrow 700 Billion.
Not only do we need to go over the Fiscal Cliff, but we need 3 or 4 more just like it to have any change, not only to have a “break even” year, but to start paying down the debt.

9 AnswersGovernment8 years agoDoes a time adjusted space map exist?
We see pictures from space, but each start is a different distance from us, and moving in a particuar direction. Does there exist a map of space, or our galaxy as it would look today if you could see all the light at once. For example, if one start is 100 light years away, moving in a particular direction, and another is 20,000 light years away moving in another direction, what is their real position today?
3 AnswersAstronomy & Space9 years agoYahoo homepage is eating CPU?
I have Yahoo has my homepage. Whenever I go to it, the CPU utilization jumps up to about 40 to 50 percent. (iexplorer). If I click on any link, or go to any other page, after that page loads, the CPU goes down to low single digits. If I go back to the home page, it goes back up to 40 or 50 percent and stays there. Running lastest version of MS Explorer on Windows 7. RIght now I have multiple explorer windows open and non at the Yahoo home page. If I open another window or go home to Yahoo home page, CPU goes back up. Seems there must be some script / flash / java or something on that Home page that is eating CPU? No viruses, etc. present per several malware / virus / etc. programs. Is there something going on at the Yahoo Home Page !!!!

4 AnswersTeaching1 decade agoWhat happened to the heavy oil for disarmament agreewment with North Korea?
A few years ago, we agreed to ship North Korea tons (950,000 tons !) of heavy oil and in return they would disarm / disassemble their nuclear program. They agreed, we shipped them oil and they started to disassemble things. As we all know, they reversed that. What happened to all that oil we shipped them? Seems everyone is really quite about that raw deal. They owe us a lot of $'s .. .have we ceased their assets for this? Is this still on the table? I hope we don't promise this again !!!
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoUncancelled Echo at -18.4 db ... is this better or worse than -14 db?
Depending upon which phone cord I use, and length, I seem to be able to vary the uncancelled echo on my dsl. Is it better to have a higher negative number or lower? Should I try to get it as close to zero as possible?
3 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade ago301 Redirect with Yahoo Hosting without .htaccess?
I host my website with Yahoo and moving it isn't a option right now. They do not support .htaccess and therefore the 301 Redirect command. What's the best way to redirect permanent, some of my HTML files, without messing up the search engines out there. I'm told that I should not use the meta command. Yahoo support has not answer, as they simply say they don't support redirects.
3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoHow can the most distant object be 13 billion light years away, when the universe is only 14 billion years old
Does this mean that the most distant objects must be traveling away at about 90% of the speed of light. Is this true?
