Anybody see the movie Expelled with Ben Stein?
**Warning** Don't go and see the movie if you want to keep being an atheist. I just saw it. It said the things I've known for many years. Very well done.

29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAnyone want to drive truck as a Team from Houston Texas?
I am in the process of hiring on with Schneider National Trucking as a Team Driver. I am looking for someone to drive with. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. I am a born again Christian who loves Jesus. I love cars, motorcycles, and sports. I love to talk about the Bible and have good conversations about life, politics, or anything. I want to live a pure life as much as possible, but I am not a prude. I love my wife of 17 years and have no intention of being unfaithful in any way. Schneider says we can make about $135K per year OTR together plus benefits. I don't care if you are male or female as long as you are pure in heart and love Jesus. Must be able to qualify for employment as a Schneider Driver. I want to start classes in Dallas May 10, 2008, but I would wait for the right person. Classes start every Saturday.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI believe the spiritual world is more solid than the seen physical world. Am I the only one?
I read a book many years ago by C. S. Lewis called "The Great Divorce"
It convinced me, but it has been a long time since I read it. I thought this question might be fun for the atheists to answer.
Not only do some of these crazy deluded Christians believe in a fairy tale Jesus, but someone actually believes the spirit world is more "solid" than the physical world.
I must be a nut. And I must admit, I really am brainwashed too. In fact, I think I missed another spot, ok, I washed it all away.
I will go as far to say, if anything disagrees with what the Bible says, I take whatever it is and get rid of it. And I replace it with the truth of the Bible. I figure the knowledge of the God of the Universe is better than what I was thinking anyway.
I bet the atheists will have a field day with me. Bring it on!!!!
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do atheists spend so much time fighting with Christians in Yahoo Answers Religion and Spirituality?
What is their motivation? Does it look like they have some doubts about their own position on God?

1 AnswerCorporations1 decade agoHow intolerant can a person be who says "stop ramming Jesus down our throats" when I say......?
.....when I say I believe what the Bible says when I answer questions here under the catagory of Religion in Yahoo Answers? Does anybody else have an opinion about why some people feel this way?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat's the real problem in the world?
I know people say all of the problems in this world are because of religious belief, but I don't think that's it.
Here in Yahoo Answers we are able to freely exchange our opinions between one belief and another, because decent civilized people can talk about their differences without resorting to violence.
But when you look around and see some of the vulgar, graphic, hateful, comments people make instead of honest and open dialoge, I think that is the real problem. The human heart.
People either choose to be evil or they don't. Even if we didn't have religious differences, people who want to hate, will still find a way a hate.
What do you think?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI want to let other people know how wonderful Jesus has made my life. Am I wrong for wanting to share this?
I really feel love and compassion in my heart for those who don't have the joy of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.
It is hard for me to remember what life was like before Jesus, but I remember the confusion and desperation I felt when my life wasn't going the way I wanted.
When I realize that the rock solid foundation my life has now, is something I used to not have, I just want others to feel the freedom and security I havel to live my life to the fullest.
How can I not tell people about something as wonderful as that?
82 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes it seem like freedom of expression of religion is losing ground?
It seems like the right of each person to freedom of expression of religious belief is becoming the right of each person to be free from having to hear anyone elses's expression of their religous beliefs.
Am I the only one who is noticing this?
6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoHas anyone upgraded the horsepower on the new mustang V6 motor?
I have a 2005 Ford Mustang V6 and I want to get more of the horsepower out of the motor, but I don't have a lot of money. I am lucky to afford the Mustang in the first place, but I want to get more ponies going. What have you done with yours?
10 AnswersFord1 decade agoDoes Christianity have a solution for racism?
Galatians 3:27-29 (New International Version)
For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
I believe Christianity puts everyone on the same level playing field. I know there are still injustices in the world, but all Christians should stand united as equals before our Creator.
Can Christianity be the role model for the world to follow? What do you think?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs everyone aware that some members identities on Yahoo Answers are being hijacked?
whyaskdon has been hijacked.
Someone is asking terrible questions using whyaskdon as an identity.
Someone is trying to ruin the reputation of someone else because they don't like the answers he is giving.
Please lets all tell Yahoo Answers that this is unacceptable. I, myself, don't want to be a part of this anymore unless Yahoo Answers can give us some assurance that we are not going to get hijacked.
26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI read the link about God is Imaginary. I still believe the Bible is God's Word. Am I delusional?
If you knew the Bible like I know it, you would understand that the greatest minds in the world could never even come close to making up a book like this. If you knew how many people did write it, over how long a period of time, and how after it was all put together it has a scarlet thread running throughout it that could never have been planned by the smartest book editor on earth. I challenge anyone to prove the Bible isn't true.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan the message of the Bible be any easier to understand?
God exists.
The core of His being is pure love.
He created our world.
He created us.
He desires to love us and give us everything.
He wants us to love him back.
He gave us freewill so we could love Him by our own choice.
We used that freedom to turn away from God.
He had a plan to allow those who wanted Him to have a way.
Every person who ends up with God in the end,
will be with Him because he choose to be.
All others will have whatever is left over when God completely withdraws Himself from them.
Happily ever after.
The end
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo my eyes deceive me? Is what I've studied and believed taking place before our eyes? Is this the time?
I read Hal Lindsley's book, "The Late Great Planet Earth" in 1979. I have been studying Biblical end times prophecies for the last 27 years. Am I really seeing the end times senerio unfolding today?
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHave I had the wrong attitude? Instead of giving up on Muslims, should I be loving them?
I heard on the radio today, a so-called Christian was heard saying, "Just nuke all the Arabs and let God sort them out." The announcer asked us if we had that attitude? I immediately thought, Not me, but then he said if you are thinking they should be killed because they want to kill everyone else, you have the same attitude as this man. Instead, he said how God wants to send them a message of love through us.
I want to love them, but I would like them allow me to freely express my love and belief in Christ and I will allow them to express their love and belief in their God and prophet. As long as they swear not to use terrorism, I think we could talk about anything. We could agree to disagree, but we could also agree about being loving, forgiving, without prejudice, and we could all be free to worship whomever we want.
Does anybody think this could work?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDear Muslims, how many of you are against what the Muslim extremist's are doing?
I would like to hear from Muslims who believe in peace between all races and religions. Somebody please stand up and say that you don't agree with terrorism.
5 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoIs the conflict between Israel and the Muslims the greatest problem on this earth?
If this is the greatest problem on earth, what do you think a person should be given if they solved it?
3 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoWhat does anyone think about getting together and killing all of the terrorists?
What if the freeworld banded together and made everyone take an oath against terrorism? Anyone who refuses would become an enemy in the war against terrorism and could be killed on site by the military. Maybe an electonic mark could be used to mark those who have taken the oath against any kind of terrorism. Then you can be a Muslim or whatever religion as long as you agree not to kill people who don't agree with your religion. If you didn't have the mark, you would be arrested. What does anyone think?
