If i were to mention immune deficiency, what disease(s) would come to mind? I'm surveying and gathering responses so I can gauge the level of detail I need to go into when I talk about this subject.

Ever since I honeymooned in London, I have enjoyed strong black tea served with a little sugar and milk. My husband and I bought a nice tea pot to remember our trip by and use it regularly. I know skim milk taste better than a fattier whole milk or cream with black tea, but I don't understand why? Why does cream work so well in coffee? What is the best way (Brittish way) to prepare black tea?

Doc says it is not asthma. I sometimes hear a whistling noise when I inhale not on the exhale. X-ray looked shady (infection?) with a little scarring but I am not coughing anything up. A CT scan revealed inflamation. Broncoscopy came back with no TB, cancer, scaroidosis. Waiting on cultures. My doctors (immunologist, pulmonologist) can't offer much help. Meanwhile I am short of breath all the time. Albuterol helps and I was hitting it 2-3 x a day. About 3 days ago I was put on Spiriva and it seems to be helping some as I use the Albuterol maybe once a day now. I had an Ultrasound done on my heart about 4 years ago and every thing checked out fine. The extreme fatigue and current SOB symptoms have been really bothering me for about 8 weeks now. Where do I go from here? I have a life I would like to get back to.

I was given a methacholine challenge and after two rounds the doctor quit saying I did not have asthma. I understand that there are 6 rounds used in the test. I continue to have breathing problems and some doctors say it might be asthma - other docs say no asthma? How hard is asthma to diagnose?
