I recently purchased a home which has the entire front and half the back yard in sod. The other half of the back yard is natural grass and weeds. It is not thick however, there are alot of dirt spots. I want to overseed this area. There is no shade and I live in AR (hot, humid summers). The area is relatively low so it holds moisture ok. Any suggestions on what type of seed to use? My first thoughts were Bermuda.

Simple question. My best friend of 17 years and my ex of 4 1/2 years (The Ex) have recently became an item. We have been broken up a year and a half now. They tried to keep it a secret from me but all our other friends knew about it. We all have hung out together within big groups of friends for years. When I first heard of their "uh-oh', my friend told me "we were drunk, it was an accident" and left it at that. I come to find, they continued talking and now they are an item. They both say "we didnt want this to happen, and we didnt want to hurt you" but those are just empty words to me. I hold my friends to a high standard, so as you can imagine, Im extremely upset with the both of them and dont want to talk to either. My question, how would you feel if this happened to you. Also, I dont have any hidden feeling for my ex, so leave that and the jealousy crap out of the answers. Im more disappointed in my friend, I feel extremely disrespected and like I cant trust him anymore.

I have been given a few hundred pounds of soybeans used in a test lab at a university. They are around 3-5 yrs. old. They have been kept in a dry closet with AC the entire time. The professor told me they should germinate when planted like any others, however, a friend of mine said I may have some problems with them germinating being that old. Does anyone have any idea on this?

Im playing in men's league softball. Several of these teams crank home runs on us 6,7,8 a game. They also all have $300-$400 bats. We use $40-$60 bats from Walmart. Can the bat really make that much difference and if so what would be a good, moderatly priced bat. I have a hard time when thinking of dishing out $300+ on a bat that I can buy for $50! Any thoughts?

Background: Ive installed Windows Vista Business on one of our desktops and I am running Windows 2000 Server over the network. All other desktops have XP. I have followed the instructions on setting up a fax from a server and cannot get it to work. From the Vista desktop, I can see the shared fax from the server, however, it says that its disconnected. All my XP machines can still use it. My server has a modem which the fax plugs into. Does anyone have any ideas on why this isnt working and what I could possibly do to fix it?? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any experience with a Savage .17 HMR? Would this be an Ok coyote hunting gun for populated areas, lets say shots <200yds.?

Anyone have any suggestions for what brand/model of modem to buy for a home networking with hi-speed cable internet. Modem will be linked into a 8 port wired Linksys router.

Is there any way with two PC's, both running WinXP Pro., using separate ISP's, that these two PC's can share files and drives from two separate locations without extreme difficulty? Possibly VPN's???
