I will join with McCain in supporting the office of President...even tho I do not respect the man who was elected to the office by fraud.

  • I prefer to use 10W in my truck...my new mechanic wants me to use 5w. Which is better?

I live in Texas where the summers stay around 100 degrees and was told that 5w is way too thin for our summers. I know that my truck ran sluggish the one time he used 5w. Time for another oil change...I would rather have 10W in the truck.

Is 5w really the manufacturers suggested weight? Google is no help.

  • How come Bush spent $42 million for his inauguration?

But Obama seems to think that $150 million is a good idea in our economy? Please somebody tell me why this is a good decision!

  • My Chi/Yorkie loves fruit!?

Have not had problems, but like everyone else, I would rather ask than Google. Is there any fruit I should not let her eat? She will not touch veggies, meat, or breads...she loves fruit. Especially bananas...I have to eat the banana outside or else she will take a bite when I am not looking.

  • Lab Experiments on Animals?

If a medication is deemed safe for human usage by testing the medication on animals, why would y'all say that human medications kill animals?

Read some responses to a question asking about using people medication on an animal and was surprised.

Are people really that dense that they would beleive that medications marketed for people will kill an animal?

  • Blind Cat has stopped using litterbox. Advice needed.?

Clint, who is slowly going blind has stopped using the litterbox to poop. When I catch him "going" elsewhere, I correct him (tap on tail as I say "bad kitty" and take him to litterbox) and he wil then spend the next 15 - 20 minutes sulking in the litterbox.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Any tips on getting him to use the litterbox? He is not totally blind yet. He can see shadows in bright light and does quite well in full sunshine, but blind as a bat in the dark.

He generally "goes" at night, so I am unsure if he has problems getting to the box are due to the darkness or the dog gates that are not up during the day (the gates really confuse him - he knows there is a doorway, but senses a wall) or what.

I have to get up earlier than the dogs to clean the piles before I can let the dogs run to the back door to go out.

  • I hurt a part-time employees feelings. Didn't mean to, but I did. Need some advice.?

This started at Christmastime...I forgot this person's gift and they caught me giving to others. Didn't see them again until after the holidays. Now every little thing I do seems to be a personal attack. Watch the person read this and get further offended. I didn't know this was going on, but they went to HR and asked them to speak to me and find out why I do not like them anymore.

What can I do to let this person know that I do not dislike them? Everyone I work with is an acquaintance...NONE are my friends. I try to treat everyone equal.

I am kinda peeved that they didn't talk to me, just went to the bosses! I hear about parties and events that she has with other employees...am I invited?!? NO! Am I upset...NO. None of these people are friends...I really don't care! I just do not want to be brought before HR again because someone's feelings were hurt.

  • Mitt Romney, animal abuser or misunderstood?

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney admitted he took the family dog on vacation, but instead of traveling safely inside the car with the rest of the family, the Irish Setter (Seamus) rode on the top of the vehicle. After the 12-hour trip from Boston to Ontario, there was fecal matter on the roof and windows of the station wagon.

Romney did have the dog in a carrier, but that would not have protected Seamus from airborne road debris that could have struck the dog at high speed. If a vehicle in front of you kicks up a pebble, you know how much damage that can do to your windshield. Imagine if that rock hit your dog in the face. Or what if the restraints failed and the carrier was flung from the vehicle onto the road? Common sense tells us that this is not a safe way for animals to be transported.

Animal cruelty investigators reportedly said that Romney’s actions could have been illegal but that the statute of limitations has probably run out on the 1983 incident.

  • Do you consider the phrase "Ghetto game" as a racist or bigoted remark?

Just curious, someone referred to the NBA as a Ghetto game because the players all looked like gangsters. I called them out for using a racist statement. Just wondering if anyone else agrees with me.
