Last summer I had a fling with a guy who I fell head over heals for. We had an instant connection and it was really exciting. I ended up losing my virginity to him. We met at a music festival and he was only in town for a little over a week before he had to move back to Virginia. We still talk every so often and I think about him all the time even though it s been a little over a year since I ve seen him.

About 6 months ago I began a relationship with someone new. I love him, but it s a different kind of love than what I feel for the other guy. We rushed into the relationship and even though I love him I still think about life would be like with the other guy.

I always felt like I should forget my summer love since we can t be together do to the distance. However, we ve been talking on the phone more and he said he wants to come visit me soon and that he shouldn t have left me in WI.

I m so torn and I don t know what I should do about this. Any advice? I need some different perspectives on this.

I live with a friend who has a cat. I have one also. He gets very active at night and sometimes goes in her room and uses her cats food dish and litterbox. I always keep his clean and he is always fed. I don't know what else I can do. I try spraying him with the squirt bottle and he doesn't like it but it doesn't keep him away. Her cat bothers mine as well. If it makes a difference, hers is female and mine is male. Both fixed and have not previously lived with other cats. I'm a little more chill about it than she is. She is saying that if this doesn't get fixed quick then one of us has to move out and it sure won't be me. I've tried everything. Do you all have any solutions?

Ever since the first day of classes he's just blown me away. He's smart, cute, funny, and his laugh just makes my day. I thought it was just going to be a short lived crush, but now that the semester is over i've gotten genuinely sad that I won't see him every day. He's around 24 and i'm 21 so it works out nice agewise. So, I want to ask him out. We've e-mailed about class but I feel it might be weird over e-mail. But also I can't really see him around campus anymore until the end of january because winter break just started. What should I do? What should I say?

I've tried using different sd cards and it doesn't work with any of them. How can I get my pictures onto the computer?

I'm 20 and in college. My cat that I had from age 9 to 19 died last year and I've never not had a cat. So I know what goes into taking care of one. I've been going through a horrible depression stage recently and my friend called asking if I wanted a kitten. I said yes, thinking it would cheer me up like having a cat used to and I've wanted one for a while. He's great, well behaved, and super sweet and everything. For some reason i've been having mini panic attacks and wondering if getting him was the right thing. Am I just having a hard time adjusting to a new cat? Was it too much getting him while I'm already busy dealing with new adult responsibilities? What should I do?

The other night me and friend happened upon an open mic night where a band on tour was playing. We started talking to them and they had no place to go so I let them stay at my house. We had so much fun! They got us out of our dull daily routine and I became really close with one of them. We ended up hooking up and, of course, they all left the next morning. They changed our lives and I'll never see them again. It's been 2 days since then and I haven't stopped thinking about my guy since. I'm feeling really down about it. Any ways I can deal with this?

What should I do about this? I'm going into dental assistance, and I have this huge love of being in theatre productions (i've been in 12 already.) However, my love of a reliable job and theatre is equal to my love of being covered in tattoos. I don't have any yet but I have several that I really want.

Okay i'm 19. He's 19. Both in college. We've been best friends for about 4 months and we're super close. Here's the scoop.

okay so i started getting involved with this guy like a month before school ended. He's a total sweetheart, super genuine, and we're best friends. I like him, he likes me. He said we shouldn't be together during the summer because it would just create problems cuz of the distance and since we hadn't been together that long and that we should pick up where we left off in the fall. He says he has no intentions of being with anyone else over the summer. Well I've had 3 guys ask me out since ive been back and im like not knowing what to say. I'm single but I have this guy who likes me but we cant date til fall and im just like super confused. anywho i talked to him about it yesterday and he said he's not ready for a relationship right now but he still wants to see where things go when school starts up because he still likes me. i'm still confused about what im supposed to do til then. i told him im cool with this as long as he doesnt lead me on and keep me waiting. and i really feel like he's not taking advantage of me. he knows im a virgin and has had many a chance to sleep with me. part of me thinks this is fine and it'll work out since we're so close but another part of thinks it's totally unpredictable and unfair. Do you think this all sounds reasonable?

I'm currently a Theatre student but it's just too risky a major for the amount of dept i would have to pay off. I'm strongly thinking about being a dental assistant but I would still want to be involved in some productions here and there. Is that a realistic possibility?

My mom is a single parent who makes about $64,000 a year. My brother is already in college. We couldn't get the loan we applied for and I'm running gout of options. there is no more time for scholarships and I've already received 2. both for 500. I desperately need a way to pay for college. And working full time isn't an option for me this summer because im volunteering at my old summer camp. How can I afford college with nearly no money?
