  • What is the best diet for my pcos?

I need to lose weight and get my symptoms under control. I have about 70 pounds to lose and want to do it in the healthiest possible way. Is a plant based diet best considering increased risk for heart disease with pcos? I have read so many different theories that now I am very confused.

  • fried curry bread?

I am looking for a vegetarian/vegan curry bread recipe. I had it at a picnic and never asked for the recipe. The bread was not stuffed like a Japanese curry bread. It was just plain bread dough rolled in curry powder shaped like a dinner roll ...I think. Can anyone help me? I have been searching online and at the library with no luck for weeks now. Thanks!

  • low progesterone?

My RE tested my hcg and progesterone last Wednesday. My hcg was high but my progesterone was low at 14.65 so they retested on Friday and my hcg had doubled but my progesterone had dropped to 14. She ordered 200 mg progesterone suppositories at bedtime and will retest and do an u/s next Friday. My question is..how worried should I be about this? I am only about 5 weeks along and I can't get a straight answer from the nurses about how low is too low to sustain a pregnancy. She had also admitted to me that usually they don't do these tests at 4 weeks so she was unsure of the normal levels. I'm so confused and scared I may lose this baby. Can anyone help me make sense of this?

  • Positive pregnancy test?

I guess I need to be reassured that what I am seeing is true. I just took the clear blue easy +/- pregnancy test and there is a cross but the vertical line is faint. I took a course of clomid and have felt like i am going to get my period for at least a week now and nothing. Should I wait and test again or is this truly positive? Has anyone ever gotten a false positive before?

  • 18 month old won't nap?

My 18 month old daughter all of the sudden doesn't want to take a nap no matter how tired she appears to be. She is almost asleep and I put her in her crib and she starts to scream. It breaks my heart to listen to her!Any ideas on how to get her to take a nap without it sounding like she is being murdered? I try to wait her out but after 30 minutes it seems pointless to leave her there and I get her back up.

  • Metformin and polycystic ovary syndrome?

Has anyone who has taken this drug to regulate their cycle and ever had it stop working for them after taking it awhile? It usually makes me fairly regular but now I haven't had a period in almost 3 months and I'm not pregnant...unfortunately. It worked really well for me before the birth of my first child over a year ago and since I started taking it again I'm not having the same results with it.

  • Why do I feel like this?

I am always tired and I hurt constantly.I have felt tired for a long time but not hurt so badly as I do now. It seems to have gotten worse after the birth of my first child. I eat healthy and take vitamins. Does anyone have any ideas how I can feel better? I even have a hard time getting up because my feet hurt until I have walked for a few minutes.I have had blood tests and everything was normal. My doctor told me it takes time for my body to go back to normal but it's been over four months. Please help me. I feel like I am doomed to be old before my time. Will exercise help?

Help! We have worms/moths eating our clothes. I don't know where they came from. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them? I have even found them in the dresser drawers as well as the closet. It bothers me because my house is clean. I have even seen them on the carpet!
