My husband has been wanting me to enter a chili cookoff for the past few years. I think it could be fun, and I love to cook anything, but here are my concerns. I love hot, but not everyone does...is hot always better in a chili cookoff? I have giant pots, but when you have no stove, are you using a coleman propane burner and a cast iron pot? My biggest concern is that it says to prepare it all in one pot. Usually I have 4 going before I put it all together...can it start out in several, but end up in one? How would you blanche tomatoes, strain seeds, brown beef...blah blah, with only one pot? This seems tricky...

I filled my tank up at lunch today and then went back to work. I have heard of people following you from a gas station and siphoning your gas. I wonder if someone attempted to do this. When I went back down to my car, the outside part of my tank was opened (I know I closed it) but the gas cap was on. When we started the car, the gas went down to 3/4's of a tank. I had just filled it. Now the gas gauge isn't working at all. It says empty. We went to a gas station and tried to put gas in, but it is still full. Now I'm wondering if someone tried to siphon and dropped something into my gas tank. If so, could this be dangerous? I know I sound paranoid :-) My car is 3 years old.

Why can we see the desk top on the big screen, but when we go to the movie playing, we don't see it?

She says that it's not contagious, but her and her runny eyes are in my cube, and it scares me.

It's terracotta tile, so it doesn't wipe off as well as glazed ceramic. Without ruining the tile, can I sand it down? It's just a few places, but it looks yucky.

I am having such a hard time finding non dorky pants for my 14 year old. It seems that this size does not exist. Big and tall skips to inseam 36 which is too long, and 32 are above his ankle bone. Does this size exist, or do I just have to get his jeans tailored?

I had to bring a lot of dirt in to build my pumpkin patch. I am growing Atlantic Giants. I have extra sand, and it would be easier to use that. If I need to get more dirt, what kind should I use?

I'm wondering if a thong or briefs would be better.
