Whats wrong with this latitude D530 laptop. The panel where the touch pad is, is extra sensitive. If i tap the panel all kinds of characters begin typing or menus or dialog boxes will pop up. What could this be. Tapping on the panel above where the battery is located under. You cant type anything without something extra typing continously.

I have a email through devry university. . . @my.devry.edu, but i dont know the incoming server or anything to that matter to set it up through Outlook 2003 or 2007.

How do it up. Ive tried looking online for the incoming and outgoing server addressses but no luck on any that worked.

Anyone with the similar situation?

I have a laptop and i do a lot of things on it (multitasking), but i find it hard to sometimes, and i have been thing of using two monitors, but I have a laptop with one vga connector (no dual card). I simply want to view two applications at the same time instead of changing from one window to another.

Like in I was working on a homework assignment and want to also watch a movie or simply working on another project or window. Is there a way or software application that I can use to split the displays to two monitors.

Ok, my father knocked my moms computer over, he said it was an accident so we dont know how hard the Tower fell. But the problem is two things, the cpu battery is pretty much half way attached to the motherboard and the computer gave a CPU fan failure error. so a friend said just buy a new fan which works now, and use a small amount of something to hold the battery down to make contact with the motherboard. (the metal contacts dont meet anymore; under the CPU), now i have started the computer to see if it runs.

I can see the new fan running, the power supply seems to be running, but i dont hear any processing from the cpu. what could be some reasons why or solutions before i go and buy new components for my moms computer.

I have the hook up, but how do i use my hard drive with this connection. The hard drive was eventually in a computer that wont power back on now, so i thought i use the drive as a external, i always to want recover some files on it what ever.

How do prepare it for a hard drive, or erase everything on it to use it as a external or recover files on it. I hooked it up but it doesn't to anything. The searching for hardware icon shows up but nothing. I want to use this drive for something but right now it doesnt have an enclosure but from what i understand you do not need it if you have this device.

My aunt stays in california, and i would like to take control of her desktop when times she need assistance.

I can connect to anyone within my LAN, but not outside. How do i take control of her desktop from mine using any type of method. Please help me out. thank you.

I have a Everex NC1502 laptop with Windows Vista Home on it. However, the keys dont work. Some do, like CAPS, G, H, F, but thats it. Is there a software issue or somewhere is Vista where settings may be off, or is it hardware (if it is what should i do).

This is my cousins laptop and they know nothing about computers. And there seems to be no physical signs of something being spilled in it.

After showering, you know how it feels when water is in your ear? That's my problem. Its kinda like that but It feels like there a bubble or air in my ear. I can hear but everything is muffled or not as clear as my right.

I clean my ears, but sometimes thats what triggers it. Only it happens off and on throughout the day or week even without messing with it. It doesn itch, doesn't hurt, I just can't hear clearly because it feels like air or a bubble or something is blocking the hearing path. If I wiggle my ear it will clear up, only after a second will I feel it block right back up.
