With the recent high profile hacks I was wondering.what effect people think this would have and would it be good or bad? Note: I am not a hacker, just curious :)

I've built a new system and am using an old drive with vista to run it atm, but when I try to install my Windows 7 OEM disk onto the new blank hard drive it starts loading then goes to this blue screen with like a dove or something on it and does absolutely NOTHING! Seriously? and people complained about Vista? At least you can INSTALL Vista! /rant (sorry). Anyway, here are my system specs. AMD Phenom II Quad core 965, 5770 radeon GPU and 4 gigs ram. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a good mobo to run a Phenom II Quad core with my 2 9500 GT nvidia cards sli'd together. Is there a good mobo for this, or should I go with an Intel chipset?

I'm in a long distance relationship with a girl that means a ton to me. I only get to see her about every other month and we've only been together for a few months. Any ideas on good ways to show my love w/o seeming too clingy?

I read a short story in one of my high school literature books - can't remember the author or title, but the story was set in the future, and followed the events of an automated house or apartment through the day. At one point a stray dog enters and dies, and eventually the house catches fire (though I can't remember why). I do remember a mention of a "shadow" on the outside wall of children playing. I'm building a new gaming rig. Mind you this is not for the latest FPS, but just for WoW. My goal is to be able to run WoW at full settings or near there and still have a good framerate. I already have a nice tower with good cooling and a 550 watt power supply. With that in mind please tell me the best cpu/motherboard combo, video card, ram, hard drive and network card for my system while trying to stay w/i a budget of around 600 dollars. Thanks!

Nothing personal, but if an actual Indian person has an answer it would be greatly appreciated as every recipe I've tried by my fellow westerners just hasn't been quite right.

Not necessarily knowing alot about my ancestry I have tried to piece together some things on my own. My father is german, so I know half my ancestry, but the other half not so much. My question is this I have the "head bump" at the base of the skull common in people of melungeon origin and my mother's maiden name was Ridley and that family name is often associated with the melungeons. I know this is scant evidence and I am not really able to find much more as I was seperated from my family at a young age, but does anybody feel I've at least made a good guess as to my possible ancestry on the maternal side?

Me and my roommates are planning on building new pcs for World of Warcraft. We would like some advice as to what motherboards and cpus we should go with. I'd really like answers that maybe give a top of the line example and a more budget conscious example so we can compare.
