  • Should I let him go?

I've been in a relationship since 2011. We have been on and off but mostly on. He was in a tough situation financially and had to move out of state with his family. We had a long distance relationship for a year. We wanted to find a home that suited our needs and start our life together again. I found our home and made all arrangements while he got laid off and was again job searching. I moved into the home and waited on him to join me. He just informed me he got a really great job and had to take it. It is out of state where he moved with his family.now I'm here alone in "our" house that I will now struggle to afford. I love him dearly and understand he has to do what he has to do. My question is what do I do? I'm so lost. I can't do this long distance thing any longer. Help!

  • Is it possible to replace a factory installed keyless entry system with a generic one from ABC warehouse?

Mine went out and I don't want to deal with having to take it to the dealer and get it programmed. Can I not just buy a generic one and have it installed? Or maybe buy a car starter with lock controls and have that installed?

  • How do i handle bio mom coming to visit?

I have a temporary custody agreement for my great nephew. This agreement is a written and notorized agreement between me and the mother. Nothing to do with the courts.

I've HD my nephew for six months, he is 15 months old. Its a long story but she has taken him back before. The plan is to get the fathers rights taken away then go to court for me to have full legal custody.

She lives 12 hours away and we had an understanding she would come visit around Easter. She asked if she could come next weekend and I said yes.

I am terrified that she will take him again. I don't know how to handle the situation. It us freaking me out. I know there isn't much I can do to keep him if she wants him back. Advice? Thoughts? HELP!

  • How do i handle bio mom coming to visit?

I have a temporary custody agreement with my niece for her son. I have had him for 6 months. He is 15 months old. The agreement is only a written agreement between me and the mother and can be revoked at any time that she sees fit.

The plan was to get the fathers rights taken away then sign rights to me permanently. Its a long story but she has taken him back once before when he was just born. We had an agreement that she would come visit around Easter. She lives12 hours away. She just informed me she would like to visit next weekend and I said ok.

I am so nervous she will take him away again.I just don't know how to handle the situation. I want to protect him and cannot do so if she wants him back due to the lack of court being involved. Any advice? Thoughts?

  • Have you ever experienced this?

Last night i fell asleep watching tv. In my slumber i half remembered i had left a window open in the house and told myself i had to get up to close and lock it. I fell into a deeper sleep and suddenly woke up to a very strong feeling that someone was standing over me. I looked over my shoulder and of course nothing was there. I got up, closed the window, and went back to sleep. It may be silly but the feeling was so overwhelming and seriously startled me right out of my sleep. Any comments?

  • How do you disguise bad painting on interior trim?

I've been trying to finish painting my bedroom and the trim is driving me batty! This is an old house and whoever painted it before did a very messy job and it is nearly impossible to get straight lines on the trim due to very bumpy edges. Is there any way to disguise the edges of the trim like with a sponging technique or something? I'm renting and I'm not really concerned with it being perfect. I just want an easy way to finish the job. Thanks.

  • How does one cope with a failed relative adoption?

My niece (one who I have had very minimal contact with) contacted me and asked if I would adopt her unborn son when she was five months pregnant. Of course I agreed. We opted for legal custody instead. Everything went well and I traveled 13 hours to go get "my" son. She signed over temporary custody to me until our court date and I brought the baby back to my home state. I had him for ten days. She called me out of the blue and told me she was sorry but she changed her mind.

She came and got the child from my sister two days later (I was too heartbroken and didn't think I could handle handing the baby back to her). I haven't heard from her since. I got no explanation and really she seemed as though she had some type of chip on her shoulder toward me. I don't understand it. It was totally out of the blue and unexpected. She seemed so sure of her decision until the day she called.

How does one handle this when the person is a family member? Do I try to stay in contact with her? Or leave it alone? I don't want her to think I didn't care about the baby. I just don't know what to do. When she told me she changed her mind I wrote her a letter telling her that I will always love her but I thought I deserved an explanation and something more than "I'm sorry I changed my mind."

I understand a mother wanting her child back, just the way it was handled was so wrong to me. Her home life is not the greatest and she lives on welfare with her mother, sister, sister's boyfriend and mother's boyfriend. She also has another little boy who is almost 2. Any advice?

  • What do I have to do to adopt a relatives child in New York?

My niece is having a baby in November and she has asked me to either adopt the child or take permanent guardianship of the child. She lives in New York and I live in Michigan. The father of the child is currently in jail/prison and will not contest the adoption. My niece says a lawyer told her that all we have to do is fill out guardianship papers and not even go to court. Is this true? What steps should I take to make this happen?

  • Why did this guy I've been dating suddenly stop calling?

I've been dating this man for six months. The last time we saw each other was a month ago. I texted him that I missed him a week or so ago and got no response. I havent heard from him at all in the last month. Everything was fine and normal last time we saw each other, no fights, no arguments, nothing out of the ordinary. Then...nothing.

I am very hurt about the situation but can accept it if it's over. But why the silence? Can't he be man enough to tell me he doesnt wish to see me anymore? Should I call him? Should I just let it go? What to do when he calls me and wants to see me again? I need some advice.

  • Need a man's point of view.?

There's this man that I catch looking at me a lot (I'll call him Bob). He's cute, and I'm single and I wouldn't mind getting to know him. He has told others that he is interested in me but he does not approach me. We work at the same place but are on different shifts, so he does have only a small opportunity to talk to me in a day. Today another man came up to me and asked if I knew Bob. I said I knew who he was but I hadn't officially met him. The guy tells me that Bob told him he is interested in me and would like to get my number. I told the man to tell Bob that if he is interested in me, then he needs to come introduce himself. My question is...Is Bob just shy? Or what? Will he see my asking him to come introduce himself as a bad thing or a good thing? I haven't dated in a while so it's almost like I'm doing it for the first time. Just looking for opinions or any advice. Thanks!

  • Is this a yeast infection?

I had some extreme itchiness and a chunky type of discharge. I got some over the counter medication for a yeast infection. The itchiness got a lot better, but today I had intercourse and it hurt SO bad! It felt like it was very dry and felt like it was tearing when it was going in. Is this normal while still healing from a yeast infection? Or do I have to worry about something else?

  • 95 Intrepid electrical problem?

The other night I noticed that my dash lights were significantly dimmer than normal. The next night I definitely saw that the headlights were dimmer. My inside lights kept flickering on and off, the radio was turning off and on by itself, the abs light came on, and the electric windows were suddenly going down very very slowly. What could be wrong?

  • Can I keep deposit made on item from craigslist?

I advertised a washer and dryer for sale on craigslist. A woman came to look at it and gave me forty dollars as a deposit to hold it until she could come that Friday to pick it up and give me the rest of the money. Two days later she calls and tells me she changed her mind. My question is can I keep her deposit or am I required to return it? I turned down four people while waiting for her return and still have not sold it.
