If God exisit, then perhaps people who read the bible a bit more faithful than I can answer my questions : 1 Why has the bible stopped? Why do we have so much evil in a world God created? Please don't say free will. Some people really do not believe their action are a form of evil (look at the mental illness today). Each person can recieve the excat same information however each man will interpert that exact information differently so how can we really put faith into a scripture written by man. In school we learn very early we must base things on fact-get out of the magical thinking phase, so how can we base the bible off fact, not a hypothesis, or you just have to know it. I mean what proof do we have that would make you say yes there is a Lord. How do you know a bunch of people didn't create the bilbe in attempt to get everyone on one accord? I really would like to know these answers. I would love to believe in a GOD with proof, not lame answers like: you just know or u can feel it.

I took NyQuil for a very bad cold (obviously) I woke up, but layed in the bed listening to the TV and my babies playing. I heard my husabnd talking on the phone. Someone got very close to my ear and whispered "I'm very proud of u Lee lee." I got scared because I knew the voice to be my dead grandfather, I turned around quickly and he was sitting there with 3 other women in folding chairs in my bedroom. I was so HAPPY to see him as he was me. I asked him "is there really a such thing as heaven? but I could not finish the word heaven. He started laughing and told the other 3 ladies as they laughed aloud themselfves. He said you mean heaven? Lets just say we will all meet again oneday. I wanted to ask him more questions but he began to transform from an 80 year old man to a 30 year old man to 18 to 10 to 5 years old then they were gone. I did not blink my eyes the entire time, they were open, same background noise was going on after the "vision". Was it the NyQuil maybe?

My husband was driving with his friends and was involved in a random shooting his friend was shot in the neck, as my husabnd was attempting to transport him to the nearest emergency room he was involved in a major car accident (he was drving on his rims for a mile or so d/t his tires being blown out) However everyone had survived that, his friends was then taken by ambulance to the hospital he survived 5 days with a good prognosis then died suddenly from a heart attack. His parent (he was 22 at the time) are now suing our insurance company for 100,000 stating due to the car accident he failed to seek timely medical attention which could have resulted in his death. Is that leagal? Also we just found out that his friend and his family are illegal aliens.

I have "out of body experiences" a lot. I asked a new friend who is a Psychologist what he thought of those, and he laughed me off. He said that an out of body experience was lucid dreaming that I was unaware of. I have had Lucid dreams in the past and was able to control my dreams, however the "oobe" seemed so diffrent so real. Does anyone have any thing that can prove that OOBE/ Astral projections are more than lucid dreams?

My husband's sister and I have not gotten along for 4 years. Too long of a story but for the main reason she felt I was trying to take her parents away by making them like me more than her! Not true my parents are alive and well, and we have a wonderful relationship. My husband use to tell me things his sister would say about me (negative things) I use to get mad and have wonderful smart@ss combacks, but my husband and I would fight (verbal) fo days. My mom said thats no the right way so I quit talking about his sister when he would tell me more negative things she would say. I would tell him if you sister say something in regards to me leave it at her house, don't bring it in mine. However he con't to bring up mean things she says, I tried ignoring him when he says them, but he just keeps on telling them to me. I have confonted him several times about it, he apoligize saying he didn't know it would "upset me" What should I do? Any helpful advice?

In the medical fields a lot of times when a patient has no chance of survival they offer comfort measure/pallative care (not the same as DNR) Which sometimes but not always includes morphine. When a terminal patient is started on Morphine you start by giving them a bolus (a large dose) of morphine, then you start a drip meaning the patient is constantly recieving morphine. Every time the patient has a grimmiace, moans, mouth breathing, or increased respirations the morphine is increased sometimes with another added bolus. The side effect of morphine is decreased respirations. 98% of the time the patient stays on the morphine untill he/she is prononuced dead. A lot of times an added medication will be given such as ativan (for sedation) to help with the process. My question is do you feel this process assist with death since the side effect of the drug is respiratory failure. (Morphine usually is not given to a non terminal patient with low respirations to prevent respiratory failure)

I understand the view regarding anti-illegal. But most (not all) of the people who claim to be anti-illegal are prejudice. All you have to do is state your beliefs regarding illegal immigrants, but that has nothing to do with the mexican culture. Why are you offending legal Mexican's? By talking about the Flag, and other mexican traditions. That's wrong and cruel. Outside of the Native Americans there is not one race who's families were not immigrants, and if you werent there please don't say they did it legally because you don't know. So my question is why must you degrade the entire race instead of the actual issue. Learn how to debate instead of going to the level of most children!

Does anyone else love that Verizon wireless Commericial when the guy comes up to her and says why haven't you called, and she says it's her cell, he responds by telling her she better switch plans so they can reconnect. I think that commerical is so funny because I have met people just like that!

Every since I was about 13 years old about once a year I would wake up and be unable to move any body part, except my eyes, I can not talk, scream or anything I seem to stay that way forever, once or twice I have even seen a male like figure (I am not crazy) I have done research on this, some say its your brain awake prior to your body. I don't know if thats true. Others say it is an OOBE(out of body experience) I have never experienced any type OOBE, however I do feel like I am being smothered. Is that an OOBE? Or just sleep Paralysis.

Like when you speak english you know the spanish word, but forgot the english word and people look at you like you have a problem when you accidentally say it in spanish? Any thing with chocolate will do!!! Also any good drinks that will help you get a buzz, but can't taste the alochol?

What is up with all the prejudice comments on this site. I have no issues with educated debates, but some people are really cruel and insenstive to others cultures. When you report someone how long does it take for it to be in effect?

I was in an auto accident in Kansas, I was 12 weeks pregnant at the time and my oldest son 3 was in the car. A 96 year old women failed to yield hitting my vehcile from the side, both were totalled. My son had a busted lip, that was it, I lost the carliage in my right knee., Had to have surgery when I was 4 months pregnant as well as x-rays, MRI. I have been a nurse for 6 years and have always been warned of the risk of all those procedures when pregnant. I had to sign consents regarding my pregnancy and those procedures so the hospital would not be held liable. I had to have the surgery becasue I could not walk at all, without falling. I have lost my job d/t not being able to work 12 hour shifts anymore. My question is will my baby (unborn at the time of the accident) be compensated as well as my 3 year old son. Not trying to win the "Lotto" as far as a settlement, but worried about long term effects from the procedures I had done with my new baby.

I have a hard time understanding him as well as other family members. He screams at the top of his lungs when told to stop screaming he says okay then screams again even louder. He goes into the refrigrator without permission and opens containers, spilling themall over the icebox, when I calmly explain why you don't do that he takes of running or says okay and does the samething again. He likes to dress himself,which I don't mind,but he will go into the closet after he already has dressed himself and knocks down every article of clothing in the closet. I have to fight him to go to bed, he's the first one up. dosen't take naps, spanking dosen't help, explaining dosen't help. I stay at home with the children my other two sons do not have this problem at all. We have 3 kids total, under the age 3. I like to go to the bar just to relax. I hear screaming all day at work and don't want to come home to it, sometimes. So I go to the bar, sometimes I don't feel like calling to tell her, I just go. One time she walked in the bar with all 3 of the kids and said it was rude not to call! How dare she embaress me like that i think. In the past I use to lie about going to the bar, I would tell her I was going to the store but in reality I went to the bar. When she would confront me I'd tell her the truth F*** yeah I went to the bar, I deserve it after working all those hours.She claims she dosne't care about me going to the bar, she just wishI wouldn't lie about where I'm going. Know shes gone to the club twice this year with her relatives and admits she dances with other guys! She cooks and cleans, bitches sometimes, but I feel she hasno right going to clubs or bars.
