  • Has anyone ever written to Juliet's Club in Verona and received an answer from one of Juliet's secretaries?

If so, how long did it take to receive a response? How did you write to her - letter, email, posted a letter in Casa di Giulietta? I found out about this watching Letters to Juliet with Amanda Seyfried and am very fascinated by it.

  • Is 1 hour enough to connect to Amsterdam Schipol from London Heathrow?

We are flying from San Francisco to Amsterdam Schipol and will be stopping over in Heathrow via British Airways. There is exactly 1 hour from landing to when we have to be boarded onto the next plane onto Amsterdam. I've never flown to Heathrow before and am unfamiliar with the airport layout. Will we have to run for it as soon as we get off the plane and head from the international terminal to the domestic terminal? Or should I play it safe and try to change flight times?

  • How do I calculate how much I made off my ESPP investment?

Just received a statement from my employer with info on my ESPP purchase of 10 shares. Ordinary Income is $190 (make it a nice round number). Unrealized gain is $265. The current market value is $870. I know I am taxed on the ordinary income on my W-2 as compensaton. I read online that I also have to calculate the capital gain ($75 after following the calculation instructions on TurboTax) on the sale of the shares (will be a disqualifying disposition since I've held it under a year). My confusion is, is my profit the $75 capital gain (just feels insignificant for holding my money for 6 months) or the unrealized gain of $265?

Additionally, how much am I taxed on the capital gain? I am a total newbie to ESPP plan so if I'm asking a dumb question or I don't make sense at all, please help so I can understand fully what I'm getting myself into.

  • Ladies..what is the best way to wash bras?

I prefer not to handwash my bras because I just feel like it doesn't get clean enough but the washers are ruining my bras and causing the underwires to stick out. What do I do?

  • Has anyone ever received a letter from U.S. Claims Services?

I was told I had "unclaimed salaries & wages" owed to me from my previous employer of over 4 years ago. I have to pay a processing fee of $29.95 for them to help me reclaim it. Is this legit? I already checked with the BBB but would like to hear from someone who has dealt with them before.

  • How do I plan a bachelorette party in vegas on a budget?

Which websites provide the best deals for flights & hotels for Vegas? The bride-to-be would rather not participate in male stripping shows (much to our dismay) but is still up for a good time at nightclubs and shows. Any ideas of what we should do?
