  • URGENT! Is anyone interested in adopting/fostering a dog...?

    Mickey, a hound mix, has been at the Edison Animal Shelter since November 2008. He is extremely sweet, with a warm, curious, and lovable disposition.

    Edison Animal Shelter IS a kill shelter, and Mickey's time is running out! The ONLY reason he is going to be euthanized is because the shelter is running out of space, and this is NOT an acceptable reason to kill an animal.

    Mickey needs your help! If you are willing to adopt, foster, or rescue Mickey, please let me know ASAP by either answering this question or emailing me.

    My Email

    email: knight.kiwi@gmail.com

    Mickey's full story/pictures can be found at this link:

  • Trig questions?

    Hey everyone,

    I just started basic trig yesterday, and im VERY confused. Here's one of the many problems i dont understand:

    If m<B=76, and c=5.8, find m<A and b.

    c=side AB

    b=side AC

    a=side BC

    C=right angle

    I obviously know how to find the missing angle, but how do you find the missing side???

    Thanks!

  • In need of a good Bible Verse?

    An advisor in my Christian club is moving to california, and on the gift we are giving her we want to inscribe a good Bible verse. Does anyone have any suggestions?....something along the lines of "God will be with you on your journey" or something really inspirational. Jeremiah 29:11 is a good one but we're using that for something else.

  • Should i get rebaptized?

    I was baptized as an infant in a Catholic church. I was truly saved a little over 2 years ago, and now I'm not sure if my baptism was really credible. Is it necessary to get rebaptized now that I actually have the faith to back it up? Is it ok to get baptized more than once? I'm pretty worried about this, especially since my family will probably not approve of me getting baptized in a non-catholic church.

    Thanks for your advice, and God bless!

  • Song questions?

    Trying to find the title of a song that's stuck in my dad's head...don't know much about it, but he claims it's pretty popular.

    Similar style to Daughtry/The Fray?

    Only lyrics we know:

    "Come on over to a place..."

  • Loading printed photos?

    My PC recently crashed, so 4 years worth of photos are gone and cannot be recovered. I have the printed photos, but there are several hundred and I don't want to have to scan them one at a time. Any suggestions on how I can get the printed photos onto my new pc? Is there a place where I can take the pictures so they can be loaded to a disk or something?

  • Repeating sins?

    Hey all,

    I was just wondering if God ever stops forgiving a particular sin....

    If someone keeps committing the same sin over and over again, does God eventually just stop forgiving them?

    Thanks, God bless.

  • Genuine question for atheists?

    Hey all,

    I was just wondering why a lot of atheists come in the religious and spirituality section just so they can put down people who practice a religion/believe in God? I understand you wanting to debate, but why insult? Why undermine people and make them seem stupid when in reality you arent any smarter than they are?

    And i'm noticing that when you post a question for believers, you completely ignore the good Christian responses and instead choose cynical pro-atheist reponses as best answers. If you didnt want out opinions in the first place, why did you post the question? Are you that insecure?

    Just a curious question. God bless and thanks for answering!

  • Evolution?

    I was wondering how evolutionists explained the different loopholes in their theory? I have done some research from different sources, and have found hundreds of bits of evidence against the theory of evolution, but Im only going to present a few as an example in this question:

    1. Humans have 46 chromosomes, and chromosome count is a steady factor that cannot be altered. ("fixity of species"). This is the reason why two species cannot mate. If an animal develops an extra chromosome or loses one, it can no longer mate, so the species would not continue. This makes crossing over from specie to specie impossible. Even if it is a gradual change, an ape cannot become a human because they have different chromosome counts.

    I'm running out of space--i'll type more in a moment.

  • Fuji FinePix Camera Problem?

    I have a Finepix digital camera by Fuji, E550, relatively new (year or two). I was at a wedding the other night and the screen completely froze. I tried looking through my pictures, deleting pictures, etc, but nothing happens. The viewfinder is stuck on the same picture. Any suggestions?

    I recently posted a question about my PC, which crashed earlier today. Technology is rebelling against my household, lol. I'm waiting for the TV to blow up to add to my collection of pitiful gadgets.

    Thanks for your help! God bless!

  • PC Wont start---help!?

    My PC refuses to start up. It begins loading, and then the blue "Dumping Physical Memory" screen pops up, and i have to shut down and start up again. This has happened at least 4 times in a row now, and it also happens to be the only computer hooked up to a printer in my house. Unfortunately, I have several papers due that need to be printed out ASAP, but i cant do that if the PC wont start.

    What should i do?!?!?

    Thanks and God bless!

  • Who can define "blaspheming" the Holy Ghost?

    I don't really understand what that means. I am a Christian myself and am a bit paranoid that i've committed that sin (athough i doubt it), so i was wondering if anyone can clarify?

    Thanks, and i'm getting tired of non-believers posting offensive comments, so just don't do it. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Act mature. =)

    Thanks, and God bless!

  • What are good careers for people...?

    I am 15 years old, becoming a sophomore in high school. I am already 100% sure that I want to work with animals after i graduate, but am unsure what that specific career should be. I have been toying around with the idea of large animal vet for quite a while, since i have a lot of experience with horses and would prefer to be a more rural house-call vet than a small animal vet with a clinic.

    However, I just can't see myself enjoying that job for too long. Plus, I know how hard it is to get into veterinary colleges, and am not too fond of the idea of moving to Puerto Rico or Sri Lanka to find a good vet school. =P

    I am really good with animals, and I'm not just saying that. I know the massage technique T-Touch (aka Tellington Touch), and I've successfully used it with both dogs and horses that have anxiety problems. I've been horseback riding for 5 years, and spent all of last summer working at a horse barn. I am hoping to volunteer at a rescue shelter this summer.
