Or would he hustle out of there as soon as possible?
5 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat are some uplifting, hopeful, thankful songs?
Can anyone list some songs whose lyrics speak about hope for the future, being thankful for what a person has done or given, looking to a brighter tomorrow, lifting others up or strengthening others. I'd rather avoid some of the more "overdone" songs like "Wind Beneath My Wings" (by Bette Midler), "Because You Loved Me" (by Celine Dion) or "Thank You" (by Natalie Merchant), but I'm looking for songs with similar sentiments.
THANKS!

13 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoTranslate this Italian to English?
My sweetie and I are planning a trip to Rome soon. For Valentine's Day, I bought him a travel book about Rome. I also want to give him this kind of sappy "poem" I wrote. I used BabelFish to translate it from my English to Italian. I want to know how accurate it is. Can anyone with decent knowledge of Italian translate this back to English and if there are errors let me know what I can change to correct it? Here it is:
5 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoCan you help name this event?
We are planning a benefit event for a children's hospital where participating local restaurants will provide free kids' meals all day on one particular Sunday. The participating restaurants agree to make a $5 donation to the hospital for each kid's meal served that whole day.
Our working title for this event is "Kids' Night Out." I'm not sure that's the best name for it, since it's an all day event--kids' breakfasts and lunches count, too, not just dinners. So, let me know if you have ideas on what else we could call it, or if you think we should keep Kids' Night Out.
Thanks! Best answer gets 10 points, and might even have your idea used as our event's name!

8 AnswersOther - Advertising & Marketing1 decade agoWhat should I do with these rates?
In the following scenario, what's the best thing to do to reduce the debt the fastest and keep interest costs and balance transfer fees to a minimum?
Home Equity Loan balance of $26,000 (limit is $27,900) rate is variable (between 8.25 and 8.75%). The interest I pay on this loan is deductible on my taxes I think?
Discover balance of $8,400 (limit is $11,000) rate is currently 0% but will go to 8% in a few months.
Visa balance of $6,000 (limit is $25,000) rate is currently 20%.
Thanks for your advice. 10 points to the most helpful!
5 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoName that Movie!?
Can't remember the name of the comedy movie where a rich man leaves his daytimer on top of the pay phone at the airport, and a bum picks it up and assumes the rich guy's identity. Rich guy leaves his house key in the planner, so bum moves into his house, enjoys the pool, drives the guy's car, etc. Rich guy can't prove who he is and struggles to get his life back. Does anyone remember this film?
