  • Smallest soccer shin guards?

I bought the Wilson peewee size and they are still a bit big. They go from his foot to his knee, so they are going to bump around on his little legs. I would ideally like something about 5 inches or smaller instead of these 7 inch ones.

  • Does a computer actually need a virus scanner?

I had McAfee, which really sucks btw (in my opinion). So the rules with McAfee are, the virus scan misses a virus and you computer now has a virus somewhere, the McAfee virus scan does not actually remove viruses, you have to pay another $80-$100 to have someone from McAfee remove a virus. Which I think is ridiculous, if the virus scanner that is supposed to prevent viruses misses one, they should remove it since you are already paying for their product.

I have no clue if all virus scans are this way, but my PC got a virus or some sort of malware on three different occasions. I did figure out how to fix it myself, which is not the point, why didn't McAfee virus scan catch this? I have now had a virus free PC for about 4 months with no virus scan other than windows firewall. I have WOT and McAfee site adviser that show me the dangerous rated sites. Which in my opinion works much better.

Now with no anti-virus software, my PC is running a whole lot smoother. Widows 7 is now updating itself normally and Widows firewall has not been found disabled like it was with McAfee.

My question is: If my computer is running smoother, I haven't had an issue in months, I don't click on stupid stuff in my e-mail, or on poorly rated websites, do I really even need a virus scan? Which seems to slow down my computer, block Windows firewall, and keep Windows 7 from updating properly.

  • Looking for a decent laptop for a small business?

I need something with good performance, memory, and connectivity first. Something tough, even if it's heavy, I'm going to be outside with it quite a bit. It needs to beable to connect to a credit card reader like this one. https://www.paypal.com/vtswipe I would like to find all or most of this in a laptop without breaking the bank. Hopefully there is someone out there who knows what I am looking for. Thanks.

  • Instructions on making this rope bridle?

    http://www.handmadehomestead.com/Bitless-Cross-Und...

I like this one, but I want to use different rope. The owners of the website do not get back to me when I ask if I can send them some rope to make one. So, now I am asking to see if anyone knows how to make one of these, and if they would be willing to share the instructions?

  • Sales tax for a home business?

I am a WI resident. I have been selling my handmade products online only, I do not have a physical store. I have yet to sell anything in this state, but in the event that I do. Do I need to charge WI sales tax? Or maybe just give me a website where I can find the information myself? Thanks!

  • What type of saddle hardware is on your english saddles, or what do you prefer?

Brass or Stainless steel? I hand make 100% Mohair girths and cinches and I am trying to decide whether the brass buckles I have are worth re-ordering.

sorry if this is a newbie question, but I'm really at a loss when it come to this kind of stuff. If there is not a way to do this, maybe someone could take a little time and explain to me what I need to do to keep it inexpensive? Thanks for any help.

  • Does anyone know off hand what brand has the smallest child's helmet?

His head measures 19.5 inches, I thought Troxel had one that small, but I think it is just slightly too big. Before anyone decides to mention bike helmet, I'm going to say no in advance as the specifications are not the same for riding horses.

  • What kind of buckle backer do you like on your girth/cinch?

I'm making 100% mohair girths and cinches and wanted to see what people actually liked. What I have right now is a medium thick suede leather that is very thin and pliable, yet thick enough to support itself so it's not floppy. (hope that makes sense) I mostly wanted to see what people like though, thick, thin, different material? www.facebook.com/MohairHorsewear I have some pictures there and a link to my website if more info is wanted. Thanks!!

  • Is there such a thing as a double sleeping bag with down as an insulation?

My hubby and I were looking into doing some back packing and would like to be able to sleep together instead of in separate bags. We have everything else already, but still need to invest in a nice bag or bags. Buying two separate that zip together would also be fine.

  • Adding hidden text to a website?

OK, you know those little informational question marks that some websites have? You put your mouse over it and some text pops up. What is that called or how do you make that?

  • Is it better to pay off a credit card in full, or make smaller payments?

From a credit score view point. If we have a lot of money on a credit card. Is it better to pay it off all at once, or pay like 1000 a month until it's payed off?

  • If I wanted a stainless steel buckle custom made, what would I be needing to search for on the internet?

I'm looking to have a 1.5-1.75 size dressage girth buckle made as I cannot find any. What would I need to type into a search bar to find someone who does this?

I have been looking and looking. First I could not even find the 1 inch buckles. Well I did finally find them on several websites, but the ones I'm looking for are the 1.5 inch. Someone has to know where to get them. Hopefully someone here can help me. I'm talking about one that looks like this, http://store.ryansproducts.com/1gibuwrostst.html but is 1.5 inch instead.

  • Halo Reach Jenga Map?

So, I've found a map, and fixed it so it actually works, and made a game type to match. Everything seems to be working great, even got to test it last night with 3 people and tweaked it whenever I found an issue. Issues seem to be worked out, but now I want to play with more people. Is there a way to find people that actually want to play this?

  • Put something in my horse's mane?

I want to put one of these in my horse's mane http://www.amazon.com/Evergreen-Research-SuperBand... Just in case it doesn't show up, it's a bugband made by evergreen research. Anyhow, we use them all the time when we go camping and they work really well at keeping those nasty horseflies off us and work ok with mosquitoes. I could probably put it around his neck as they do break fairly easy, but would rather not. I would like to somehow attach it to his mane, but without making a huge wind knot. Any ideas anyone?

  • Is it possible for a 3-4 yr old to choose to be a vegetarian?

I honestly would love to know. My little one will NOT eat meat besides bacon and the very occasional chicken nuggets (occasional because I've deemed them as unhealthy.) Seriously, no turkey, no chicken, no beef whatsoever, and the only pork he does eat is bacon...so I kind of decided to give up and just try to find foods that have protein in them that aren't meat. He love all kinds of veggies, so if anyone has any good ones for us, please feel free. :)
