  • Custody issues when people are not married in Kansas.?

My son and his ex-girlfriend have two minor children. She has a history of violence and is on probation for it, she has violated probation and will be going to court next month. She's living in her grandparents home with five other adults, their two children and another two children. I've called SRS to investigate living conditions and the treatment of the children. My grandson regularly has bruises to his face, which she claims he fell down a flight of steps. SRS is investigating, but my son wants to keep the children since he's worried about their welfare and has always wanted custody. They are not married, so I need to know if he has equal custody and not worry about keeping them on his next visitation (time they agreed upon). She is getting money from welfare and food stamps and I believe she's abusing the children. My eldest daughter said the little girl flinched when her husband raised his arm to get something. Please help if you know the law for Kansas. I appreciate opinions but I need true sources.

  • Who do I report to about a cyber sex act and is it illegal?

I am a member on a social site that promises not to show any porn. Unfortunately, there is a lot of revealing pics that I have encountered when looking at profiles and sometimes sent to me. I always report them to the site managers. This last thing really was disturbing and I don't know if it's illegal but my instinct is to tell someone of authority. This male had many pics of himself totally nude and erect, but worse yet he filmed himself masturbating, this isn't the worst part. He filmed it while in front of an open window of his home, masturbating when a neighbor across the street was putting out trash. There were two videos posted on his profile page. I'm just beginning studying criminal justice, but don't know about this. I've reported his profile to the site, but I feel concern for his neighbors. Please help. Thank you.

  • Experience with psychopaths?

I have researched the definition and symptoms of a psychopath and sociopath. My ex-husband falls in the psychopath category identically. I really had this one figured out a long time ago. If you have known or lived with one, you can relate to this. My question is this, he is more than likely moving to his home state where he recently married someone after a few months of correspondence. He told my son who was vacationing with him that he would probably get married today, and then he did. This was the only warning he gave to my ten year old son and then shared it with me when he brought him home. So the question is this, once he moves away, according to the way a psychopath behaves, will he eventually let the relationship with him and my son fade away as he becomes involved with his new life?

  • Strange phenomena occured last night, can someone help me?

Last night at midnight my ten year old son and I stepped outside to hear the fireworks for the new year's celebration happening in town. We live about 3 miles from the event on the edge of town. We are rural enough that we get excellent star gazing, and the night was very clear and cold here in Kansas. We could here small fireworks exploding, then the large ones from town began as well as the voices in unison cheering, just south and west of our home. But due south I could hear a strange, large noise that my son described like thunder, however, it was too cold for thunder. It had the magnitude of cannon fire which we hear from the Fort nearby but it wasn't the same rumbling sound nor did it shake the earth as the cannons do. This seemed to be more in the air with a whooshing sound that was deep in sound like thunder can be. It seemed to persist in waves of sound as well as a gentle barely orange glow. I have experienced sonic booms and it wasn't at all like that. It came from due south of our home at a farther distance than the celebration. My instinct gave me a feeling of fear. I'm wondering if it was a magnetic pulse, but I don't have experience with those. Can someone with true knowledge of earth's natural phenomena please help me or guide me to a site with answers?

  • Auric Fields is the topic of my question.?

I need someone who has dealt with or has the ability to see auras on a regular basis. I know of them and where they originate. I myself can feel auras but not see them. My ten yr. old son just a few days ago began to see auras. It was right after he got his glasses. He'd been using contacts on a trial basis and never saw them. Is he seeing real auric fields? He describes the colors of auras and also sees energy of inanimate objects too. This all come after many weeks of him asking what is my special gift Mom? I and all my children have various psychic gifts. I'm wondering if he's manifested enough that it occured when his normal "sight" was made more accurate. Please no wisecracks. I need someone who can give on-going advice with first person knowledge of this gift as I can only counsel so much of what I know and sense to be true. He wants to know how to make it more clear and easy to see. and he's been experimenting constantly with it. He also wants to know what the colors mean. If yellow is present is that a positive reflection of the solar plexus or does it show a lack of that chakra? Thank you.

  • Fiery image of Pope John?

Have you all seen the fiery image of flames coming from a bonfire that looks eerily similar to a body, specifically that of Pope John Paul II? It was taken in April in Poland(his homeland)during a celebration commerating the 2 years since his passing. Many believers say it looks like the Pope in a famous pose when giving a blessing. I'm wandering what everyone thinks of this. What do you think it is and what does it represent to you? Something good, bad or nothing. I personally believe in signs..this one kinda freaked me out (not much freaks me out)because I accidentally came across a website last nite(was on National Geographic) called www.world'slastchance.com and it had some weird theories about the papacy. Things that make you go hmmm.

  • Is black cohosh best for stimulating labor?

My daughter is 38 weeks, her cervix isn't softening. It's her first child, she's 27 and took quite some time and doctor's help getting pregnant. She prefers to deliver naturally but they'll put her in hospital on Aug. 13 to coax the cervix,I hope not with patosin. If that doesn't work they'll do a c-section. They also were concerned her small pelvic bones would not allow natural delivery. Any herbal suggestions are welcome but I'd prefer someone whose had experience. Thank you all!

  • So why is it wrong for General Pace to express his opinions about homosexuality, but ok to judge pres. candidat

Aren't we supposed to have freedom of speech? But now if it offends any group of people it's not pc. I can understand outrage if he had bashed gays , but all he did was give an opinion based on how he was raised. Can't we have our beliefs without persecution? Why should anyone gay or straight have to declare their sexual orientation when entering the military? Will they defend our country better? Let the man have his opinion and let all choose how they live and what they do.
