What kind of illness causes the sufferer to die at a young age?
I'm writing a book where one of the main character has a younger brother that dies at a very young age. (9-12 yrs old) My question is that: What kind of illness makes the sufferer die at an early age within a year or so?
I'm thinking, chronic lymphoid leukemia or chronic myelogenous leukemia. I did my research but I want to have different options. So, if you guys know an illness that fits the bill, it'll really help. :)
I'm open to any other suggestions, or you could pick one of the two options I've written.
Thanks to all suggestions in advance.
3 AnswersCancer9 years agoI just rescued a stray kitten.?
I fed her, bathed her, and dewormed her. She's eating well and playing. She gets along great with my parents, my rabbit and I.
The only problem is that I have another cat. A british shorthair breed which is kinda cold to everyone.
The cat (her name is Miao-Miao) doesn't really like her. They are hissing and meowing at each other. And it's really bad. Although they don't fight or bite. I don't think it's the kitten's fault cause she's warm to everyone. She even plays with my rabbit. :)
So, my question is how do I reassure my cat, Miao-Miao, that she's still loved by us. (She's a rescued cat too. ) And help her accept the kitten as a companion?
I want the kitten to know that she's the younger one and that Miao-Miao's 'in charge'. But I don't want Miao-Miao to bully the kitten.
Please help. Thanks in advance. :)
10 AnswersCats1 decade agoQuestion on kittens. please help. ?
I just brought a stray kitten home. I dewormed it and bathed it. The kitten's a girl she looks really tiny and starved. I'm feeding her kitten food and she's eating very well. Almost too well. I'm afraid she's gorging herself because she is afraid she won't be able to have another meal. (As I said she was a stray.) She begs for food. So, should I give in when she begs cause she's hungry or should I give her a fixed amount? She's very active.
9 AnswersCats1 decade agoHow do I erase pencil marks from watercolour painting?
This might be a very basic thing to know in watercolour, but I'm totally self-taught. I was wondering, after you sketched your subject, added the colours, and let the painting completely dry, how do you erase the pencil marks. You know, the ones that you would have made when you just started to mark out the outline of your subject...
I thought, maybe use a kneaded erase to lift the marks out after adding the colours and letting the painting dry. But I'm just checking.
Answers would be very much appreciated. And it would be more assuring if someone told me what THEY personally do when they use watercolour as a medium.
5 AnswersPainting1 decade agoDoes anyone know where I can get clay for life size sculpting?
I need to know where to get clay to make life size sculptures. And/or where to get already made sculptures to study and draw. You know like a sculpture of a hand or a head... I'll really be thankful if someone gave me some answers with some links.
Thanks!
